    Morning underperky :)

She is looking good and was snoring like a pig when i left she is not alone there is always someone in the house with here

She does not like the limited food she is getting. When i fed here before bed with here medication she was starving and a little confused with the scrambled egg at first but enjoyed it :)

Years ago I found a dog and it was only a puppy and was dragging it's back legs along

so I took it to the vets to be put to sleep

But the vet said he had been took away from his mother too early
and to feed him on scrambled egg and cornflakes

I told him it wasn't my dog I had just took him to be put to sleep out of kindness to the dog

To which he replied .. it's £5 to have him put to sleep or £5 for a vitamin ejection

So I said give him the vitamin injection which he did ..then he said and bring him back in two days time for another one

So that's how I ended up with a dog he cost a fortune but was worth every penny

Glad your dog is perking up

thankyou Snap ....so looking forward to a family reunion with my 3 siblings me being the oldest...as the years progress these times together become very special and what better reason than a Family Wedding:heart:

Dry here at the moment so no need for a Taxi to the station;)
  • Good morning. Beautiful day again but again a bit chilly!
I hardly dare utter the words for fear of tempting fate but has anyone's order been cancelled for the lay z spa? Mine still says they need more time to tell me a delivery date but I felt sure I would have received a cancellation email yesterday. It will probably hitmy inbox as I press post!!

My first job was as a Saturday girl at the ABC bakers, where I earned the grand sum of £4.80. First weeks money went on a pair of silver earrings and second weeks on a navy Simon shirt. On one memorable occasion when the delivery arrived I dropped a whole tray of custard tarts :o
After a year I moved to Littlewoods. Because I had "catering" experience I was put in the kitchen, where I made sandwiches and desserts for the cafe. Pay was a dizzying £8 and if we got cleared up quickly we could go home about half an hour earlier than the shop floor girls :T

Just about to finish last bits of packing, then off to the cattery and the airport. No idea what the wifi will be like where we're staying, will keep up if I can and remember, HG is going on holiday, there WILL be a major glitch :D

    Morning all.
Sitting in the car park at work again, waiting for a space.
Very sad day yesterday. D had to have his beloved dog put to sleep. :(She was very old, and the vet said it needed to be done.
I had a rant at the local surgery as D not seen by Dr since his discharge from hospital. Hey presto, a Dr and a district nurse visited yesterday. They are going to provide all the care and equipment that he needs. That is one less worry. The palliative care team will be visiting, and the district nurse is organising a hospital bed. ( that the hospital said D couldn't have as 'he didn't fit the criteria')
I seem to have a permanent feeling of trepidation at the moment, churning tummy and a feeling that something bad is going to happen. Silly, I know.:o
    Anyway work is calling.
    Have a lovely day everyone.
