Never been on one, but I doubt it, but equally the OP has not mentioned the possibility of one anyway. Besides, if you got back to what I originally said, it was that he faces the prospect of a fine and points, which is correct.

He's also faces the prospect of being offered a course so there wouldn't be points. You actually said the only way he would avoid points is to be banned. That statement was incorrect.
