HELP Please! Has anyone heard of mobilesolved.co.uk? .........
........... I paid them 1.79 by paypal for a code to unlock my phone........But have received no email or any reply to mine!!
Since then a kind person on this forum has provided me with the much needed code...........
But what should i do?
Chalk this one upto experience?
Or, how do i try and get my 1.79 back?
Any suggestions/experiences appreciated!
Thankyou.

Contact Paypal and explain to them whats happened.
Never heard of them
If its s phone you dont need a cable to unlock, people in here should be able to talk you through unlocking it0 -
Only unlocking older Nokia's which there are numerous free code calculators out there for, the site looks as though it hasn't been updated since March (what year who knows) and the terms and conditions are good
If the service fails to meet the standards that we set and you are unhappy you may request a refund providing that you issue
(by postal letter only) your details including:
(1) Mobile telephone model number
(2) IMEI number
(3) The number you tried to unlock
(4) The time and date of order
I like the fact you have to request a refund by post....yet they don't give an address on the site
Paypal is possibly the only option...it maybe the owner of the site isn't even doing unlocking anymore and doesn't even know you've purchased.Welcome, rogerramjet.

Thanks to you both.
The company was found via a google search..........it was one of the paid adverts at the right hand of the screen.
I'll try contacting paypal....i kno its only 1.79....But its better back in my pocket, than theirs!0 -

I am so annoyed, i too have been conned by this company.
I have paid the £2.50 via pay pal and have heard nothing.
like the person who lost £1.79, its not the money its the principle and the cheek of these robbing !!!!!!s
i have contacted Pay pal, but i doubt there is anything they can do.
This site is still being sponsered on Google.
I only wanted to un lock my motorola mobile phone.
Does anyone know a safe cheap option??
It is so annoying when people waste your time and money for their advantage.
i would be greatful for any help.
Thanks0 -
I didn't receive anything either! I've opened a dispute with Paypal but I feel the need to do more about this as I am not the only one. If Google allow Mobilesolved to advertise, if enough people complain we could get it removed. I would like to advocate the power of facebook. I'm going to start a group so we can do something about this, and hopefully stop any more people losing their money. I found a completely free website which worked fine so there was no need to deal with Mobilesolved at all. It's only £1.79 but I feel robbed and I want my money back - do YOU?0

yet another sucker here tried to unlock my radio code not only did paypal allow the transaction to mobilesolved (who seem to have dissapeared off the earth except to recieve payments. no phone number listed, i'am even dubious of an address given) but they debited my account twice insult to injury or what? contacted paypal most unhelpful company i have ever had dealings with, what can we do ? i've informed paypal that i hold them responsible fallen on deaf ears it seems0

Add me to that list of people - I too am £1.79 poorer with nothing to show for it.
Anthea_jack, which website did you use? I've tried loads of free calculator sites but none of the codes have worked.0 -
A lot of the websites will have old box serial numbers that generate wrong codes,us pro's have upto date software to unlock phones, some models can have a few different codes to try but seen as you get 3-5 attempts then we get the right code in the end before the phone is hardlocked0

Like a few people have said it's not the money it's the principle of it! Not to mention that you feel like a bloody idiot for falling for it!!0
