Experian report shows false linked address

I have a credit score of 999 but my application for an M&S credit card was rejected. I believe on the basis of a false linked address on my credit report.
How can i get this address and hopefully the associated debt removed from my file ?
I this likely to be on other credit agency files ?
Will the £10 CIFAS report obtain my information from all credit reference agencies ?
I am on the tenner a month deal with Credit Expert but not sure what to do first apart from join CIFAS.

You need to raise a dispute with Experian or the lender regarding the linked addresses.
The score of 999 means nothing Experian are not lending you anything.
However the linked addresses may possibly be a contributing factor for your decline.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Stop paying the £10 per month - waste of your money.
Obtain all 3 reports from Experian, Equifax (£2 each) and Call Credit (free, use Noddle).
When you say linked address and debt, do you mean someone else has used your name to take out a card/loan etc?I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Yes, there is a Capquest debt going back several years. This has only just appeared on my report 27/7/15.
I don't owe the money and have never lived at the address.
Can CIFAS help here, i think i can obtain credit report from via them also?0 -

Thanks, I was considering a written application via CIFAS so i don't have to enter any details on the internet.
Have you joined CIFAS St.Clair ?0 -
Are you sure you mean CIFAS? protective registration with them is £20 and wont provide details of anything on your reports or help with this problem much.Still rolling rolling rolling......

I am sure i just read somewhere about the standard £2 per agency but iam sure there was a £10 option to obtain the information.
Are you a memeber of CIFAS Rizla King ?0 -
I read it on an Experian headed PDF document.
"For a fee from £2 you can obtain a copy of your credit file (which gives details such as your name, address, current credit
commitments, payment records, etc) from the credit reference agencies. If you want to see your credit file then you
should write to the credit reference agencies Experian Ltd (Nottingham), Equifax Ltd and Callcredit Ltd at the addresses
listed above, enclosing the relevant fee. If you believe any of the data is incorrect, the details you receive from the
agencies will explain how you can set about having it corrected. You may also be able to add a note to your record, which
could help you. If there is a CIFAS Protective Registration or a Victim of Impersonation marker against your name to
protect you, you will be able to see this on your credit file.
For a fee of £10 you are entitled to request a copy of any information held about you by any organisation on computer or
in some manual files. This is known as a Subject Access Request. If you wish to request a copy of any data held about you
by CIFAS, the address to write to is below. This will include only CIFAS data and not public information, payment history
data or other fraud information."0 -
Are you a memeber of CIFAS Rizla King ?
No because CIFAS does not have a membership scheme like that.
Just protective registration https://www.cifas.org.uk/pr
think you have the wrong organisation
you are thinking of a subject access request to CIFAS which again will do you no good hereStill rolling rolling rolling......<

Check Experian, Equifax and Callcredit, and complain to each of those about any wrong accounts and addresses. If a simple error that is all you should need.Still rolling rolling rolling......
