Neighbours blocking shared Access-way - no dropped Kerb

I may be being simple, but if there is a residents' parking box across the access, why not park there and block them in?
I suspect that you will find that you both have the right to pass and repast over the access, so a fence/bollard(s) will be a no no.
Shared driveways like that cause endless neighbour arguments.0 -

These people have an annoying habit of hammering on our (new) front Porch...which is mostly made of thin glass windows...we don't want them to bang on the windows, asking us to move our car. So we don't do that :-)
As for your other point - I get what you are saying, but...since there is no dropped kerb (and hence they are driving over PAVEMENT Flag Stones in order to get their cars in the Access-way) - do they (or we) really have a VEHICULAR right of way on the Access-way?
I would have thought the "Right of way" is more "Pedestrian" than "Vehicular" - but I'll try to check the Deeds to see if it clarifies.
P.S. the Police were in touch today, and are being very helpful. For a start they aren't amused at the news that Rubbish is AGAIN being left in the Access-way. They will be paying a visit...0 -
Knock knock, 'can you move your car'

That's at least two councils prepared to prosecute people for driving over a pavement without a dropped kerb. Maybe a diary of parking in the access is the way to go. It would of course mean you and your visitors could never park there either.0 -

Hounslow were useless - when we contacted them (last week), they didn't actually address the matter of the non-dropped kerb at all. Rather, they told me they had come by and inspected the Pavement, and thought "the Paving stones look fine".
This despite my photos showing how the continuous entry / exit of that 4 x 4 had caused the Flag Stones outside the Access Way to practically implode...0 -

The police are interested in rubbish being left on private property. Yeah right, next you'll be saying you live in the Met Police area.0 -

The idea is sound - but as mentioned earlier, they damaged my Mother's car outside on the road with their Mercedes.
Now that they have a huge Volvo 4 x 4 - we wouldn't put it past them to ram into our car if it blocked theirs in.
Unless you have a cherished car, I would be inclined to let them ram the car, with cctv footage and mobile ready to dial 999 as an aggressive person has inflicted criminal damage on your car.
As you state their car has been parked illegally by crossing a pavement which has no dropped kerb.
The matter of them banging on the thin glass can be responded to with a beer in hand stating your legally parked car cannot be moved until the following day when you are sober.
If they break the glass again dial 999 as an aggressive person is trying to gain entry forcibly to your property.
IMO Police are generally useless and disinterested but you may get one who wants to do their job.
Remember always be polite and pleasant and have cctv0
