What you need is like I said, a blanket ban on anyone parking there at all e.g no vehicles regardless if it is yours, a visitor or a tradesman. It is not a parking space, it is access to 2 properties and that is all.

I'm thinking the best time to put in a bollard would be on November 29th...

...our neighbours residents parking permit expires on November 30th...

    ;-)

Thanks for confirming that you were unable to find anything to back up your position regarding driveways that don't have a dropped kerb.

You would have been very prompt in disputing it if you had some evidence, are you still looking?

OP, I feel for you. Bollards or some large and heavy item in the shared access sounds a very good idea, as soon as you can do so. Regarding the legality of blocking in a car that has got to its parking place by driving over an undropped kerb, have a look at what Brent council did.

2008. Before 'blocking in' was illegal.
Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.

Along with the fact that someone who descends into name-calling = someone who knows they have lost the debate.

I don't suppose that they're declaring the rental income to HMRC?

I doubt it - they are avoiding paying for a Resident Parking permit (about £60 per year) - and are tight and slippery as eels.
