I hope im not dreaming, think I just won LuckyPhones main draw today... incredibly sleepy... back to sleep time!

Edit - Not a dream, been paid! Thankyou Aesop! I missed a win last month as well, highly reccomend LuckyPhone!
Congrats on your win. Well done :T
Top Dollar, I don't think you need to worry about YouGov paying out when you reach the magic 5000 points. I've had a few payouts over the years (although it takes so long to get enough points). Every time I manage to get as far as a payout I vow 'never again', just because it takes forever having to do so many surveys at, usually, 50 points a time:(. I find their surveys interesting, though, and never get screened out, unlike some from other companies so I stay with them.

I've heard others say the frequency of surveys slows to a trickle once the redemption level is approaching but I haven't noticed this myself. I only need another 300 points to reach 5000 and if anything I'm getting surveys more frequently than before (tho' that's not saying much!)
    ^^^^^^^totally agree with the above.

Won £2 with GFK surveys today :j

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

    yes carbootcrazy is right.

Cheers Carboot and Aesop. I was intrigued more than anything as every Pinecone survey asks if you'd be willing to test at the end, but there never seemed to be any indication that you would or wouldn't be chosen. I think I'll have a look at some of those links you posted though, as it could be a nice little supplement to general household purchases if anything comes through :)

I'm calling it a day for this month with another £3 pinecone, £2.94 eBay sale (something I've listed about 6 times!! - woop!) and a bonus saving of 25% (£12.44) off our Vintage Inn meal the other night. We'd been trying to squeeze in one or two more 'date nights' while we could and the email offering this at one of our favourite restaurants arrived just in time!

So, I've just managed my target (£314.63) for the month and think I'll leave some of the other little pots of money to pull in next month - goodness knows what day mini us number 2 will put in an appearance, but I'm expecting it to be a slow, dazed and confused month :rotfl:

Good luck to everyone still soldiering on!! Loving all the lucky phone wins! As Lynne says, its a real feast or famine challenge sometimes, but opportunities can creep up anywhere, so keep those eyes open!

I have a couple of large items on ebay 'collection only' that are not generating much interest - I think they might sell if I am able to package them and courier them but I am not sure exactly how to go about this so any help much appreciated or any experience of sending larger than post office items you can share.

There is some info on MSE about parcel shipping,
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cheap-parcel-delivery.
    (hope that works?)
Also try Parcel Monkey too, you can get DHL/UPS on there

Got a £10 Amazon voucher today from GFK for an app I installed on my phone, got points on SB for it too :D More money in the Xmas pressie pot :T
Im at £140.13 for this month, very happy with that :D

And I managed to save myself some money today by fixing my computer, its a touchscreen and the screen has cracked and was sending it crazy and totally unusable, did a bit of googling and managed to turn the touch screen part off. So pleased as I would really miss having my laptop :j:j

I've fallen off the wagon this month although I have saved loads on using coupons and/or clearance items - several transactions I saved 90%...Christmas gifts/toys. I'm also now paying 50% less for nappies and formula. I don't count these savings on this thread though :)

Anyway, well done to all who continue this challenge :)

I have stopped getting notifications of this thread! and it's a pain navigating mse on my phone to find out what is happening so rely on my emails.

sorry for being awol. summer is nearly over and DS back to school wed so can try to support those struggling again.

well done Cerenia. I saw your name and thought I recognise that. have had a fair few on facebook also win through my posting about it on facebook. must admit this is one of the few sites along with geolotto where I have heard of so many winners that I actually know virtually or in real life! never known it before!

well done to all, I won 7 numbers yesterday so my loyalty pot is up to £6.05 getting there.

still making money on the side slowly. loving prolific academic. those of you who don't do it, do it! easy money and you don't get screened out and great interesting surveys.

had 100 free listings ended monday, didnt list any, next day got another 100 offer and haven't had time to list any. by the time i sit down it is 10pm and too late to start listings. but i desperately need to get stuff on this weekend and sold. desperately! ebay gods make all my bids sell please!

going swimming this morning, then friend wants help again. I wouldnt mind but I am having to fit around her which is restricting my time. but hey she needs the support, got to do it.

applied for a job last week, heard nothing, so take it am overqualified :(

I'm a great believer in 'what goes around comes around' and you've helped so many of us, Aesop, and now you're putting yourself out for your 'real' friend. Lots of good things should be coming your way, you deserve it:A

I'm sure lots of parents have had some memorable, fun times with their children this summer but will be glad to get their own lives back to normal once school starts again;)

Good luck with the job hunting:beer:. I have the same trouble although with me it's an age thing:(. I wish they didn't ask for d.o.b. on applications as I know I'm perfectly capable, active and energetic enough to do any of the jobs I go after (only part-time ones now as I'm retired really) but never get any reply. I expect they take one look at my age and think I'm some decrepit old biddy:eek:. Anything I've gone for on spec by just going in to a place and asking, or by recommendation from someone who actually knows me, I get. I know there'll always be vacancies on the Phone Book delivery teams (they can't find people daft enough to do it:rotfl:)!

Have a great last few days, everyone, there's still time to make a bit more money:beer:

Sorry, so much rabbiting I forgot to update my latest totals:o

Not much to add this month. £5 PriceMatch coupon in Morrisons, £5 Love2Shop voucher from surveys and used today in Wilko and £10 roadkill. The latter was a sore point as I was driving OH to a hospital appointment when he screamed out ' pull over as quick as you can and stop the car'. I thought he was having a heart attack or something but he'd spotted a £20 note blowing down the side of the road. His foot is all bandaged up so I was the one who had to get out and chase it (blowing a gale and teeming with raining that day too:(). When I eventually got back to the car soaking wet (the money kept blowing away from me) with it OH insisted we share it as he was the one who spotted it after all and would have chased it himself if he hadn't been incapacitated:mad:

So that's £20 altogether which brings my total for the month to £228.05 which is a disappointment as I don't think I'll be able to add anything else before the month ends. Won't be car booting over the Bank Holiday as we've got family commitments. A good opportunity missed, sadly:(
