    Thanks carbootcrazy & Surfchik80 :)
Ebay can be so annoying sometimes but I have alot of items to get listed over this weekend so I had better grin and bear it :o

    Thats the spirit!

I get wound up by the odd muppet (I'm particularly short on patience at the minute though, lol!), but then I think how much actually goes through eBay problem free and I look at just how much income it does make me! Shake it off :T

On another note, how often do those of you that use pinecone get the freebies to trial that they always seem to mention at the end of the survey? Purely curiosity :)

Sadly, there's nothing we can do to get the stuff to test apart from agreeing to do it when that box comes up at the end:(. Pinecone or the manufacturer choose who to send them to.

In all my years with Pinecone I've only ever had 4 products to test, despite always offering to participate at the end of every survey.

As far as I recall (as I haven't tested anything for about 2 years:()
they ask you to confirm your address details immediately after you agree to test the stuff if you are successful. That's what has always happened to me but not sure if it's still like that.

  • :hello: to all the new people, returners and 'old' members. I hope you're doing better than me at the moment. Every time I read about someone who has made anything on eBay (despite hassles that seem to happen more and more these days:() I tell myself that I really must get back into the habit of selling stuff on there myself. Just can't get myself motivated, even though I have loads of clutter that should sell even for small amounts. Plus, I'm seriously strapped for cash so have no excuse at all for letting the chance slip:o

Did a car boot sale this morning, car boots being my favourite way to raise a bit of extra money:j. Lovely sunny morning so I hoped to do well but it was a massive sale with hundreds of sellers and there were too many of us competing for people's cash. The buyers were particularly stingy today, nobody was willing to pay the asking price for anything even though I was practically giving stuff away as it was:(.

Made £57.20 after fees so shouldn't grumble but I'm still nowhere near my target this month and doubt I'll hit it. Amazon book sales have completely dried up but at least I sold several books at the car boot sale today that had been lingering for yonks.

    Have a good week, everyone:beer:
  • Just popping in to say I just had an email from Alba Science about testing products. Can't remember who asked about trials from Pinecone earlier but this is a company I signed up with recently. I forgot all about it until I received the email today. Sorry, can't remember if it was Aesop or someone else on this thread who first recommended them:o and I can't vouch for them personally because I haven't done a trial for them yet. Am just passing on the info in case anyone is interested.

    Part of email pasted below:

I do testing for them. They are high end products and you must give feedback otherewise you won't get on any more trials. The products you won't be able to sell on, because of the way they are packaged. A nice way to try high end products though.

I am really sorry not getting time to post. got told of yesterday for not spending time with DH.

but I spent a good 4 hours ironing lol, I had to! it was just piling up in spare room and needed it to go down. I still have a basket of stuff left to iron. Dug out some stuff for cash4clothes and need to try and take down today. went last week and she had run out of money by 11.30!

also have 100 free ebay listings, so really want to get more than 20 items on.

DS wants to go soft play too as it is raining here, but the soft play he wants to go to is about 40 mins by car, and I would like to spend a good few hours there for the entry fee and travel rather than 1 hour.

but he has swimming later, and i have some stuff to do at home this morning first.
