That's hilarious CCL! Our chemistry teacher was just plain weird... He used to hoard pens — he had about 20 in his breast pocket at all times — and our biology teacher said that if you left a pen unattended on the desk for longer than 10 seconds, he would steal it! :rotfl:
Also forgot to mention yesterday that my friend had her baby on Saturday, so I'm now Honorary Aunty to a little boy, as well as 3 girls! :j I found a set of clothes on Amazon to get him for Xmas, since a lot of my friend's baby clothes are obviously girly and they already have plenty of baby toys anyway. Had a couple of good days SBing, so hope to get more vouchers soon so I can snap it up!
Not much else is happening atm, but I feel better than I have been of late, so will hopefully get around to doing something productive this week...Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

SBed like mad today — got 426SB! Mostly thanks to several surveys. I have ordered another £5 voucher and feel motivated to get the next as soon as I can, so that I can order my friends' baby's Xmas present

Received my £5 Amazon voucher

Today has been a little odd. I woke up early to go to the bathroom and then realised I was very, very thirsty so I decided to get up before 7. Trouble is, it was about 2am before I fell asleep last night... Managed to get started on writing a short story! I want to enter it for a themed submission which closes on Sunday, so it will be a tight squeeze but possible.
Also want to SB as much as I can today, to propel me towards my next £5 voucher so I can get my next Xmas present. It's tricky, cos no surveys want me today

Today,s session at WL with the life coach was excellent. It helped me to clarify a lot of things and focus on strategies that suit me best in regards to my career. I have a lot to be getting on with and feel more motivated than I have for over a month!
Added £11.40 to my savings pot, though I will probably use most of the pot to pay for dog food at the end of the month. Spent 99p on a new baby card for my friend — intended to get one which said ,boy, but the one I liked best is unisex
My DD for the new Virgin sim came out of my account with no problems, which is another good thing

Hi ABA,
I have read your diary from the start and am amazed at your progress.
Your dedication to SB's has to be commended - I think I manage £10 a year:o....if that!
How is the brochure work going?
If you haven't already another possible voucher earning op go to https://www.volunteer4panels.com/
its run by Kantar that are a really big market research company. I do shop and scan with them and get £1.10 per week - I save it up for amazon or argos vouchers to go towards Christmas.
They have lots of different opportunities, they will review your profile and see where they need you most. I was on there a while before I got an invite, but it came eventually so worth a shot!

Thanks bellevie — I will check it out. Brochure work is stalled atm, until I hear whether they want me to go ahead with the project. I don't want to waste hours working on it only to be told that I won't be paid because they don't want me for the job.
SBing over the weekend has been awful. I struggled to hit 30, let alone my daily targets. It means I won't get the 3 week bonus, which I think I must have been close to  On the bright side, I'm fewer than 400SB away from getting my next £5 voucher.
I got my mum to work out what I owe her for this month, since I won't be spending much this week (just a few bottles of Tesco Value cola). I owed her £5 over the £20 I pay via standing order, so I took £4.90 out of my savings pot and when I emptied my purse to find the 10p, I found a 20p piece I didn't know I had! Lol! So my savings pot hasn't had as big a hit as I had dreaded, despite having to buy dog food
Hoping this week will be brighter and more productive than the past few weeks. I missed the short story deadline, but I like the idea and think it deserves to have more time spent on it. There are a couple of themed deadlines coming up next month, so I want to work on stories for them too.Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Yesterday was a disappointment, because I thought I was going to be ultra-motivated and get loads done, but I was actually lethargic and did absolutely nothing. Even SBing was !!!!. I also ended up eating some crisps my dad had bought (he had 2 big packets) so I will need to buy a replacement ehen I go shopping tomorrow

Today has had a brighter start: won 50p on Luckyphone and had enough points to order £30 of Amazon vouchers from Globaltestmarket
This means I should be able to buy Xmas presents for my friends' baby and 2 of my BFFs, which means I will just have family presents left to buy :j Plus a few unofficial presents to bake for friends I don't give proper presents to, but like to give them a little something they can share with the family
