Other than the fact the £120 offer no longer exists...

So it's only a better deal for people with their own personal time machine.
Or those who took out the deal at the time for the month it was running, which made a mockery of the statement by EE "WE GIVE OUR BEST DEALS TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS"
Which was the point pgregg was making
It's not just about the money

If you can't work that out!

The OP started this thread when the offer was valid.

As an existing EE customer, I'd like to point out that EE claim on their sim-only shop page: http://shop.ee.co.uk/my-offers/sim-only

WE GIVE OUR BEST DEALS TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS

    Whoops, not any more...

This post was made Today, 12:08 AM, when the offer no longer existed.

Just a word of warning to anyone who has taken up this offer.. I logged in to check my first bill today and it was for £70.99?! After ringing them they told me that as I'm a new customer they add a £50 'deposit' to my first bill to enable me to make premium rate or international calls and he said he would remove it if I wished. Although it's supposedly now too late to change the amount as my direct debit request has already been processed (it will come out on 11th August) so I'm stuck with paying a £71 bill next week even though my sim has only been active for less that 24 hours.
You should be able to stop the DD and pay by card for August and set up the DD to start in Sept.

What does it matter that the deal was over when I posted?

Going by your argument, banks wouldn't have had to repay PPI because, you know, they don't do that naughty thing anymore.

There was a period of time when EE was offering a better deal for new customers despite their claims otherwise.

I (an EE) customer, and I presume thousands of others, easily spend more than £120 a year on Amazon (more like £1200) - so this deal would have been significantly better for those types of existing customers.

It doesn't matter whatsoever, you can post what you like, but if you post something factually incorrect it might be commented on.

Which was wrong, as at the time you made your post EE was actually giving the best deal to existing customers.

Just wondering, for those of us that signed up for this deal at the end of July 2015, when can we all expect to get our Amazon vouchers?

Should they start to appear from early October or at the end of the month?

Also, has anyone ported a number to their new EE account. I haven't done so yet but will be doing this soon and don't want this to affect my chances of getting the voucher.
  • I would imagine that if you don't hear by end of October to email voucherhelp@moneysavingexpert.com and let them know you haven't received the voucher. Apparently, you don't contact EE about this. I was told to provide your EE order number, phone number & sim number.

I'm still being charged £20.99 per month, as I haven't had a proper bill yet, as the 1st month they charged me delivery which was refunded in month 2, so in essence, I've not had a proper bill yet. They have confirmed that I will be billed @ the offer price of £19.99.

I ported my number across with no problems from 3

    Hope this helps
    Regards,
