Hi
I've just spoken to my provider "3" and requested to terminate my account as I am interested in transferring to EE's offer in this weeks email from moneysavingexpert.
The offer is : SIM Only Unlimited mins, Unlimited txts, and 4GB data for £19.99 per month & a voucher for £120 with amazon.
Now "3" told me, that the voucher could have t&c's attached to it for example, you may have to buy x amount possibly double ie £240 worth of goods, in order to present the voucher for part-payment.
Does anyone know how this works out? I can't see anything, and don't want to apply with-out knowing in advance.
Many thanks

There's no restrictions on the vouchers, you can use it to purchase anything on AmazonIt's not just about the money0

I just applied for it, even though my Voda contract has 5 months left to run, although I will be leaving them in favour of EE as they are useless.
My order was "referred". I've never been declined for credit, so does anyone know what this means? I've taken out a new Amex card in June his year and opened an accoutn with Metro bank (though not my main bank). Have I been declined or are EE likely to ask me for a deposit?
Can anyone shed some light? Thanks in advance!0 -
I could be wrong but maybe it's due to the fact that you've already had two searches in less than 6 months already.
Hopefully someone will come along with a more definitive answer.
Hope you get accepted.Regards,

Thanks, Money Saver.
I hope they haven't screwed my credit rating. I have also closed two other credit cards these past 6 months and another bank account...0 -

Cool thanks for that. I called on the 0800 number shown on the page and gave my ref number. They had me on hold for a while as they promised to go and 'check something'. After over 15mins waiting I gave up and hung up but they called me back. They told me they would transfer me to someone else, but after another 8 mins (how long does it take to transfer a call?), I hung up again.
Within about ten minutes though, I received an email saying my SIM is on its way to me.
Now, if only Vodafone will release me and give me my PAC

Thanks - at least someone gives me sympathy!
EE have always been like this - they inherited that from the new Orange after France Telecom took them over. That said, they are better than what Vodafone are like right now, hence why I jumped at this offer even while I'm still in contract with Voda. Roll-on December...0 -
three will say anything to stop you leaving theyre known for itWhat goes around-comes around0

three will keep trying even if you say you have no moneyDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
