Nothing, I am more or less housebound, (TKR), and enjoy seeing others fall into my little traps, odd I know, but it is a good way to have a decent argument. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Oh dear, another false assumption. What I am saying is that when I post a topic to inform. and lots of schoolteachers bank clerks and such rush in with ill-informed and unsolicited advice, I tend to wind them up a bit. In the process I often gather much useful intelligence.
That is not trolling, although someone with your apparent limited vision may think it is.
That is exactly what trolling is.Don't feed the trolls : Sadly the web has a habit of throwing up a very small but vocal number of trolls, people who are nasty or contrary just to get a rise out of you. If someone's doing this, simply don't reply, just report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com. If you get involved and fling mud back, you risk being barred from using the forum too.0 -

You can find anything on the internet to back up your line of argument but the following was from Urban Dictionary
"A person whose sole purpose in life is to seek out people to argue with on the internet over extremely trivial issues. Such arguments can happen on blogs, Facebook, Myspace and a host of others.
The best thing you can do to fight an internet troll is to not answer..or report them."
Seems to fit IMHO
Also from Abouttech - "An internet 'troll' is an abusive or obnoxious user who uses shock value to promote arguments and disharmony in online communities"
Again quite a good fit don't you think?First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
It doesn't matter what definitions exist elsewhere, the ONLY one that matters is what's in the MSE terms of use for the forum.0
