freeby - make up a batch of pizza dough ( easy peasy, and if you have a breadmaker, even easier peasier) and whizz up some tomatoes with herbs, garlic and a little sugar, add toppings of your choice ( loads of onions, cheese and mushrooms do it for me), drizzle with oil, extra herbs and cheese then bake. Home made pizza and a NSD saved from extinction.

I think you could also get a lump of pizza dough, spread it with garlic butter, fold it over and roll it out, then drizzle with oil and herbs before baking, for a sort of garlic bread thing. Loads of salad stuff torn up and tossed in a bowl with a bit of olive oil, salt and lemon juice. Instant and easy pizza dinner, just as good as the pizza restaurant but half the cost.

Hi. I would like to aim for my usual target of 15.

    NSD number no 1.

Hubby and I went out for the afternoon. Used our English Heritage cards. Visited Lullingstone Villa and then Charles Darwin's house. Took bottled water and blueberries picked from the garden.

    Sounds scrummy.
I see that you are 2 days away from being debt free. Congratulations, you must be ecstatic. How long has it taken you?

Since late 2008, when I first took out a DMP, then Spring 2009, when OH and I took out a joint IVA. Six years and a bit. Hard going, but MSE kept me sane. Monday the last payment comes out of my account, and OH and I have an appointment at the bank to tidy up our finances. He wants to transfer his account from his bank into a joint account with me so everything goes through the one account. Practical, because if one of us died ( which will happen one day!) that person's account would be frozen and bills would not be paid. He wants me to take charge of the account because he recognises, despite being an idiot in the past, I am more meticulous in balancing the books than he is.

So, celebration lunch at Cafe Rouge Monday - using the £20 voucher obtained using £5 of Tsco Clubcard points.....You can't keep a good MSEer down!
