It clearly states on the letter and i qoute "3.Select a product from the alternatives list at the same retail price (RRP) as the recalled product."

So you are not meant to choose anything, you may get lucky tho.

I would though they will be bothered if you are a bit over, well i hope not as my choices were about 70p over

My letter does not mention making any choice from the list at all or how much my item cost.
My letter was from Alison Chance and basically had four paragraphs, (1 - apology, 2 - how important safety is to them, 3 - return the item and 4 - thank you for contacting us.
That is why I phoned them up to check as I just had a large catalogue with about 100 items to choose from and no details of how I should make my choice.
Guess I will wait for a letter telling me not to be so cheeky then!!

Has anyone had anything from Mattel yet? I've been waiting for my replacement item for over a month! I appreciate they're busy but surely this is way too long!

Mine arrived about a week after sending off the catalogue, DD was happyish with what she got it came slightly over what she should have had but they still sent it.

Has anyone tried buying from Toymaster with the Mattel vouchers ? I had a load of toys but when I got to the checkout the chap said I could only purchase Mattel toys - the reason I asked for the vouchers was because there were no Mattel toys my girls wanted !
I would love to know your experiences - would TESCO accept these vouchers ?

I sent £89 worth of PP stuff back to Mattell, who were fantastic. From the moment I first called them to the time it took to send alternatives (Pixel Chix) it took about 3 1/2 weeks.

I used all my vouchers on non Matell toys in a Toymaster without problems , depends on the store i guess as it does say they have to be spent on Matell.
