Enjoy your last day at work Kirsty. :j
It's all so close now, remember to just take time to chill out as well.
Re baby clothes, do they need to be ironed? I'm lazy & the baby clothes just got washed, dried & folded into the drawers.
Batch cooking is worth doing if you can, at least when you're off you should have time.
I'm another one that nothing worked for, I was 11 days overdue with DS & think it was the sweep that set me off and then I was in labour for around 48 hours altogether. Thanks both! Disciplinary done so I can relax now - another lovely huge bunch of flowers when I arrived and a card, balloon and banners from my lovely office girls
They really don't need to be ironed sashy but I'm feeling very lazy at the moment and I can do it sitting down so it makes me feel like I'm making some nesting effort :rotfl:
Well my list yesterday was a total bust - I fell asleep and then was quite poorly again, dodgy tummy doesn't seem to be going away! I did do some more of my hospital bag but it's definitely not finished! So todays list is much the same as yesterdays
1. FINISH PACKING HOSPITAL BAG
2. Go to post office to collect a couple of parcels I've missed whilst at work
3. Prep stuff for fajitas for dinner
4. Take all labels off 0-3 clothes, and start the long wash, dry, iron, put away process
I've done a bit more research and think I will put things in an order of trying:- Already taking Raspberry leaf caps
- Start taking evening primrose oil
- Lots of walking
- Lots of ball bouncing/rotating
- Try and persuade OH for a bit of the other in the next 2 weeks, unlikely to work
All other suggestions welcome!!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Well the good mood didn't last long
We have a bit of a situation where because OH was only originally planning on travelling to the UK for a few years, he had never imported any of his belongings.
Since we bought a house, we've been trying to arrange to do this and I think his parents thought they were being helpful and shipped his stuff to us - it's now somewhere over the ocean and we still haven't got anything sorted regards Transfer of Residency - it has been denied because he applied after 12 months of living here.
We have explained that for the first 12 months he didn't plan to be based here permanently, and it wasn't until we became serious that he decided he would be staying, at which point we were told that you could apply for TOR following the 12 months if there were extenuating circumstances.
There's no info on how to appeal and we are potentially going to have to pay VAT and customs duty on all of his belongings. In fairness there isn't much, but it is collectables that he has been an avid collector of since his childhood, so there is a lot money tied up in these boxes and I have no idea what the amount we will have to pay is.
British Gas still not resolved and no-one will speak to me so I threatened another ombudsman contact if they don't get back in touch ASAP, yet to hear from that.

Oh gosh, what a palaver! I'm not sure what to say to that other than I hope it gets cleared up soon. Try not to get stressed about it all, it'll get sorted one way or another.
Re: having a dodgy tummy, I know quite a few ladies who've had that just before going into labour. Another sign of your body preparing to evict baby perhaps?

I can't deal with it today, the lovely office ladies have done me a mini baby shower with buffet so I'm going to enjoy that and ignore OHs strop about his stuff not having arrived yet.... well, until I finish at lunchtime. Then I will be calling for clarifications!
I wish it was Jojo, but it's a side effect of the diabetic medication so no such luck..... yet!! xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

How you feeling today my love??On a mission0

So I'm officially on maternity leave! And I just feel a bit deflated - I have a purpose at work, and I'm struggling not knowing what to do. The house is a sh*t tip and I need to clean but my back is killing me and bending over leads to not being able to breathe!
I went to a day spa yesterday and had a hydrotherm massage which was lovely but boy am I sore today. I've got lots of stuff to get done - there are clothes all over the nursery that I've been washing so I really need to get all that put away ASAP. Also need to get the car cleaned so OH can install the car seat.
I've got a growth scan this afternoon and 2 consultant appts plus the diabetic midwife. I'll be there for a good few hours. I'm not looking forward to it because he seems to have had a huge growth spurt and my numbers have started dropping which can be a sign of problems with the placenta. They aren't dangerously low but they certainly aren't what I would expect. Wish me luck! xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Hope your appointments went well Kirsty.
Try not to worry too much about cleaning the house, OH will just have to pull his finger out & help you.
It can be weird finishing up at work but just try to relax, you'll have plenty to do soon enough.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0
