Thank you so much perfectxmess :)

Thanks Monz, only by a pound, but under is under ;)!!!!

So, major improvement so far today - only 1 bout of sickness!! Hopefully my placenta is finally taking over so my hormones can settle :) or it might just be a fluke, we shall see how the rest of the day goes and if tomorrow is the same, fingers crossed :)

Am waiting for my 12 week scan date which they said could take 2 weeks from my midwife appt to come so if nothing has arrived on Monday I'll give them a call.

I'm hoping for some savings from NZ spends so we can make extra payments to the CC when we get back - not sure whether it will be the NZ CC or OHs at the moment but one of them will hopefully be getting a cash injection....if I can persuade OH he doesn't need every piece of V8 memorabilia that is!

Well my good day was wishful thinking but I am getting used to it a bit more I think.

My scan date finally came through too, 25th September :D a bit later than I would have liked but I'm just happy to have a date now!

3 weeks today until we leave for NZ, I'm getting a bit nervous about feeling so rough on such long flights but I'm sure I'll be fine.

Couldn't resist a cute little outfit for donut today. It's the first thing I've bought. I wasn't planning to until after the scan but my heart melted at this little winnie the pooh set in sainsbobs so it accidentally fell in the trolley :o

Little PAD of £9 to OHs BC today as I felt that the number was a bit stagnant. PA has been slow at the moment and I only have £18 ready to cash out which is nothing compared to how I was doing in June/July but hoping it will pick up soon so I can get back to the OPs to CC and mortgage more often :)

  • Thanks Monz I've got 2 countdown apps on my phone to the scan....obsessed much!

I was part of 2 TTC groups - one on here and one on FB and a few of those ladies have gotten their positives in the last few weeks - I'm so thrilled for them! It makes it feel more real for me when I think about how far I've come since we found out - it feels like it's taking FOREVER but actually we've known for 8 weeks on Friday....it doesn't feel that far away that we found out!

I found donuts heartbeat with my handheld doppler at home last night as well - so lovely to hear

Nieces 1st birthday this weekend and I've been very reserved and only bought her an outfit and a baby einstein toy - she will get so much that it just gets lost in the pile so I'll save the money into the presents pot and get her something a bit bigger for Christmas. I can't believe she is 1 already. Where does the time go!! xx

  • I've set myself a new financial challenge - I want to have paid £2k on overpayments to the mortgage by the time we have been in the house 1 year, so I have 3 paydays to make that happen and £275.26 to pay. £91.75 a month. I can so do this!!

I won't be able to do anywhere near this next year while I'm on maternity leave so I'll concentrate on this target and see if I can beat it :o

We are still going through the name agony, I think we have decided on double barrelled for the surname but the boys name we liked had 2 middle names which sounds ridiculous with 2 surnames so we have to rethink that plan now :o

I've given up hinting about it abba, he's adamant that if we get engaged it won't be until after the baby is born :( even the threat of my name only wouldn't change his mind, stubborn mule he is :rotfl:
