The early months of pregnancy I found difficult with tiredness, sickness etc etc but you will forget it all once you have your little one. How many weeks are you now?

  • Oooh Kirsty I am so pleased everything has gone so well so far (apart from the sickness obviously). I've been away for the past week but quite desperate to get on and hear how the scan went - and I'm thrilled everything is looking so good. The next 32 weeks will just fly by and you'll be a mum before you know it... Hope the sickness calms down once the first trimester is done.

Thank you :) I still get very teary remembering the scan :o

We went away to Norwich this weekend for a friends wedding - there was nothing I felt like doing less than spending over 4 hours in a car but OH drove and I slept most of the way, just waking up every half an hour to tell him to stop for a wee/vomit stop....he must find me so attractive at the moment :rotfl:

It was a lovely wedding and there were a couple of hours between ceremony and reception so we went back to the hotel so I could have a rest. Much needed! Was in bed handy last night as the bridge and groom left before 10pm, woke up this morning and forced some breakfast down. The original plan had been to have a wander around Norwich as it isn't somewhere we've been before but that did not go to plan and I felt too poorly - straight in the car to go home and I slept for 3 solid hours on the way back. Got home and am currently under my fleecy blanket on the sofa trying not to sleep again! Growing a human is making me very tired!!

I've been having some awful dreams though, and they are so vivid! I've woken up the past few days in tears. I don't normally remember dreams very often so I'm guessing this is another pregnancy thing. I'd like them to be a bit cheerier in all honesty though!

Nothing much going on with debt overpayments, a few bits here and there and mortgage OPs when possible but most monies are being pushed into savings for baby related items and maternity leave.

Hope everyone is ok, I'm in the middle of catching up with diaries but I won't be contributing too much as I may nap again shortly :o

    Thanks Jue :)

I can cope with feeling like this as long as I can sleep when I need to, I'm just stressing about this week - I've got a sicknote but am having an ISO re-certification audit tomorrow and Tuesday and I need to be there so will power through - am just hoping they won't be full on days and I can get off in the early afternoon or I may burst into tears on the assessor :o

Hope you're feeling a bit better Kirsty, the tiredness is quite something isn't it? If you need to sleep then sleep - you need to be kind to yourself right now. :)
