I love being 60 + - I got freedom - to be who I want - I can dress exactly as I please - who cares as I am pleasing me.
I can dye my hair, wear punk, do outrageous things - what is not to like? And all free-ish0 -

Why the need to wait until you are 60+ to do that ?0 -
Unfortunately I have to wait until i am 67 to dye my hair outrageous colours and dress how I like as it is not the done thing if I want to have a job."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

BTW, I have a date with my siblings for a Tuesday in June next year at the garden centre near where our parents' ashes are buried.
They give 10% off to the over 60s on Tuesdays, and I have said I will treat everyone!

A great benefit is the Senior Railcard - you can get significant savings on rail travel and its definitely worth getting. £30 per year (or cheaper from the Town Hall, in my area). And you qualify at 60, no need to wait until state retirement age.0

No lower age limit either.
