I buy mine american candy/cans of soda as he loves them but they can be quite expensive.
I used to leave post cards under his pillow sometimes but the dog caught on and used to steal them.0 -
He cleans my house. OMG what love does that show? I am a total sloblady when it comes to housework, there is always something far more interesting to do.
But no, every now and then a full cleaning job is done for me, furniture moved, vaccuumed, floors mopped, (I do keep bathrooms and kitchen very clean, it's the only thing I give a fig about).
I love him.
I do all his tax returns and all that stuff, so it's all good.0 -

How nice to read all of these
The little gestures are the most important I think. I do like a big surprise gesture now and then, but I think it's the day-to-day stuff that makes the biggest differenceMortgage received 21/12/2018

How sweet to read all those answers. Little gesture does make great difference in any relationships. I do like my OH sometimes to give me a small surprise, chocolates, sweet text.Men talk of killing time, while time quietly kills them.0

Aww these are all lovely things
My boyfriend will buy me flowers for no reason or I'll buy him his favourite sweets but it's the everyday smaller things that matter more, we'll always thank each other for dishes washed or dinners made or saying I love you randomly throughout the day and I think it helps you appreciate each other more.0 -
I occasionally make OH a packed lunch, and if we have bananas then I draw a silly face on one
Sometimes I might buy him a bar of chocolate that he likes, or a pastry, or bake something that he really likes but I don't (coffee cakes or cinnamon buns).
I can't think of much that he does for me...:o once or twice a week he might make me a cup of tea without being asked, or sometimes he buys me a wispa!

When I have made the evening meal, he will always thank me, give me a kiss and huf afterwards. I think that is lovely, but me making him a meal is no big deal really! Something I take for granted if you know what I mean,0
