I don't but I usually stick in the motoring forum and most of your posts in there are nonsense as well.

Hello op. You may not have noticed but it's 2015 and technology has moved on in leaps and bounds. I no longer need to sit at my computer all day! Oh no! I can now place a bid through my phone wherever I am, be that in the pub, on the loo or even cashing my giro (ok, I lied about the last one ).

If your bid was higher you may have won. The other person only won because the bid more than you whether it was at the last hour, minute or second.

Ive lost auctions for mere pennies, but my max bid was just that so i didnt win.

It doesn't matter what time you place your bid.

As long as the bid you place it higher than any others, you will win, regardless if whether you place the bid 7 days, 7 hours or 7 seconds before the auction.

I always bid when I see a listing, and forget about it - if I win, I win becaue my bid was the highest.

Rightly or wrongly I use a snipe tool.

Often early bids raise the final price, seems sensible to bid in the closing seconds.

Not only that, it is easy to set up the item number and the maximum I want to pay, walk away and get on with life, come back and see if I have won.

Note - the maximum I want to pay is still the same as not using a snipe tool. I lose many many auctions as I have not set the bid high enough.

    Seems fair play to me.

Look on the bright side, you now don't have to go on caravan holidays.

You were sitting waiting to bid last minute and you're annoyed because someone else did the same? And they're sitting at home on benefits but you aren't? How does that work?
I'm at home on the computer at 11am on a Tuesday. I also work full time!

According to the email/message from ebay I was still winning till within the last minute.

Some people are so competitive they have to win all the time but perhaps their time will come
