Was your bid the maximum amount you were prepared to pay?.....0
-
I love the idea of ebay but have lost out a few times myself. The whole idea is that you bid the maximum you are prepared to pay. ( or well at least that is how I do it). If someone bid more then sorry they where prepared to pay more.
The only thing I would say is that I have bought a few items because I have contacted the seller and said if anything goes wrong with the current sale just let me know. It is worth a shot.
But sorry this time you did not win. It is fair and square. After all you where buying from ebay because you wanted a bargain and the seller wants the most they can.Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0 -
I was today watching a caravan I would dearly of wanted - I waited to the last minute to bid as nobody else had.
A few moments later I looked and someone had bid at the very last minute and got it.
I went to see the caravan and heard nobody else had.
Are there some people who can just sit on their computer all the time or are they not doing anything because they are on benefits and have no other life?
Bit of a strange comment.
Just because someone has bid on an item last minute how on earth does that equate with them being sitting on their computer all the time/on benefits/ having no life!!!0 -

Every point for the post
If the 'snipping tool is legal it certainly does not appear to be fair that some toe rag can nick the bid.
Everyone should be playing on a level field
It is a level playing field, you bid the most you are prepared to pay and if you win you win, when you do this is up to the individual,
and you don't need to use a sniping tool to do this, or be sitting in front of a computer, ive bid in the last 10 secs while in the middle of a Kenya safari, its the digital age smart phones, ipads, tablets you can access the internet from almost anywhere.
Care to explain what this person did that you couldn't do to make it unfair?
If you wanted it that dearly you would have put in your maximum bid0 -

You made an assumption that no one else would bid as no one else had viewed it, then made a mistake of not putting your highest bid.
If you had bid your highest, then it would have been between you and the sniper, and who had placed a higher bid.
Nothing wrong with sniping, but it doesn't always work.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
