Morning everyone! Hope the weather is being kind.

Time to deal with the vileness.

And I need to write my summer list...

Grass minced, mower just sat in the sun to dry off. Weeds lifted, kiddies dug up some spuds and I flung some gibble from the side of the house:T looking rather nice out here!

Now having a cuppa and kiddies playing at my feet happily- DS is humming away to himself:D

Need to finish sorting the bedding and store what's staying. Also have a messy kitchen again so will deal with that before baking commences.

    Cricket off, pouring.

So today I shall fly, when I can drag myself away from the history of Grace the cricketer on R5L.

    An update from me:

Water house plants (didn't need it)
Walk dogs via farm for veg and docs to drop off prescription request (done)
    Bath dogs
    Hoover/sweep/mop through house
Dye DD's hair and do a manicure for her
Garden (actually might cut the grass quite early in this list as the weather is still dry here) (done)

Also, washing up to date, last lot on line, beetroot cooked, fruit salad made.

Think I want to take the dogs out again before bathing them and before it rains. Not worth hoovering through etc until they are clean.
Spend less now, work less later.

Rain has arrived so pleased garden got finished. Tidied kitchen, baked cake - we just need to put it together after they've finished lunch.

Then I'm heading upstairs for an hour - send in a search party if I'm not back by tea-time!

Is the forum odd for other? Keeps signing me out and changing to a new blue site and then I log in and it is back to the familiar green.

The blue site is the new look forum mentioned at the very top of the page which I can't seem to get my head around at all. Fortunately, like you, I've found a way to keeping the old style look but I know it'll disappear soon. It's a bit like seeing my best friend have plastic surgery - slightly disturbing, knowing they're the same underneath the looks but not feeling good about it.

Hope you manage to keep the migraine at bay, Ionafan.

    Tidying, tidying, tidying.
    Better is good enough.

Sister and mum have been to visit today. Eight hours driving for a couple of hours nattering over lunch. I am incredibly grateful to my sister for doing the driving.

Cricket off here too. Lovely to have DH here today. All kids out so we are lounging watching the Anniversary Games on Channel 4.

DH is cooking tea. I don't know what it is but it smells fab...
