CY glad you are feeling ok
Decided to spend the day sitting at the cricket, only been home 10 minutes. Was not feeling in a very positive mood so thought being at home would be counter productive. Cricket again all day tomorrow, weather permitting.
DH has been at home putting all the stuff back and taking the carpet to the dump.
Going to head off to bed in a minute to read, hoping to feel better tomorrow and that AF is planning a visit. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good evening everyone, I have not really posted for 2 weeks as dh is still in hospital, I am really hoping that they let him home soon. I need to get my head back into work, studying and cleaning, as the house is looking a mess and I have a massive mountain of both paid work and course work. I am going to make a list for Sunday and see how much I can get done, which will include a visit to the hospital which is an hour drive each way.
Sunday
Feed animals
Refill bird feeders
Organise clothes for today and Monday
Get a quick shower
Empty the kitchen bin
Do 3 hours work at clients
Bath the little ones
Collect all dirty laundry
Go to the garage to check tyre pressure and get fuel
Visit dh in hospital
Make a roast for dinner
Wash up the dishes
Get the kids to bed
Spend an hour on course work
Get bags ready for Monday
Organise diary for next week
Get an early night
Check supplies of paper/printer cartridges/stamps and envelopes
Throw away any pens that don't work
I think that is all that I need to try and get done on Sunday, Night all x0 -
Good morning all. I'm back from my holibobs. I haven't had a chance to read anything other than last page of last week and this page on this so:
MMM - just do what you need to till DH is home
LW - hope the Westies are cheering you up
CY - glad that you feel better this week than last
Frizzle - congratulations
DH is at work today but off with me again tomorrow so today I plan to:
Water house plants
Walk dogs via farm for veg and docs to drop off prescription request
Bath dogs
Hoover/sweep/mop through house
Dye DD's hair and do a manicure for her
Garden (actually might cut the grass quite early in this list as the weather is still dry here)
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Laying in bed listening to the small people shouting, and pretending I can't hear. SD has just taken pity on them I think, so time to get up....big day planned in the garden so will be online later to update x0

MMM, I am so sorry to hear that your DH is still in hospital. It must be very hard for you, with the hospital being so far away, and two little ones to cope with.
Dusty, hope you feel a bit better today. Sticks thrown for your BD and LW's.
CY, glad you are feeling a bit better this time.
Apart from feeding the hens, doing a bit of shopping, and cooking meals, I achieved a big zero yesterday. I fell asleep after lunch for 2.5 hours during the nicest part of the day, so the garden is still crying out for attention, and today is grey again. I slept for 8 hours last night, fairly soundly, so hope I can stay awake today. If not, I shall probably find that I am succumbing to another migraine - fatigue for no apparent reason being my main warning symptom. We had a great evening out at the theatre on Friday, but maybe the flashing lights (some directed towards the audience) were a trigger for me.
Today I need to
- feed the hens for the last time, as DS1 and family are due home later today
- go to church
- cook lunch and evening meal
- do some printing, cutting out and sticking
- try to plant out 5 plants, though rain is forecast until about 5 pm
- work out how to start transferring my diary to my new phone and set up my email0 -
I need to cut my grass this morning too - before the rain arrives. Baking this aft with the littlies and I think my dad is visiting later. Might fling them out in the garden while its bright.
Must get dressed firstBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Morning all
Is the forum odd for other? Keeps signing me out and changing to a new blue site and then I log in and it is back to the familiar green.
MMM sorry to hear your DH is still in hospital, it must be very worrying and tiring, I hope he is home soon.
Ionafan hope you can stay awake.
Rain due here and all the boys have cricket again, DS3 over an hour away so awaiting to see if any are called off early. Can't make any plans until this is decided so cooking pancakes for DS2&3 now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
