Thanks Bossymoo.....It is Amtico tiles with strips to replicate grouting...but because the strips are indented they do gather grime. I find the steam mop pretty useless for anything more than a quick whisk round. I have used old fashioned elbow grease and a scrubbing brush on my hands and knees but that silly little rotating brush head really did a better job at getting into the grooves.
Anything for hire is industrial sized so way too big.
Amtico flooring is supposed to be thoroughly stripped and re-sealed yearly although I confess I have never done it. was hoping a rotating brush would encourage me to do that job.0 -
Dusty, hugs - hope it can be sorted out successfully.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

Oh dusty I hope they can sort that out and you get what you want.
Drumroll
I've cleared the table of all but a vase of flowers, a candle and some cake (in a box we will finish tonight).
I'm folding carrier bags at the mo, then I'll have a cuppa and cull some knitting needles.SPC~12 ot 124

Thanks, they have agreed to reorder it thankfully. Will be inconvenient to go through it all again but worth it. Off to shops and library now. It is pouring.
Jam I was making whilst carpet being fitted is somewhat glue like as cooked it too long whilst on the phone. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good result Dusty. Never mind the jam, you can't have everything.
DS is really struggling with back pain. He has withdrawn from cricket tomorrow, much to DH'S annoyance. Determined to make DS seeking medical advice tonight if possible.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Well today was a flying right off!
This morning I went swimming with ds2, picked up ds1 from summer school and then went to my cousins for the afternoon. I was absolutely zonked. I felt like this last Friday so presuming it might be the swimming! I thought by now that I might have seen the back of this stage of the pregnancy! Had a little nap when I got back. struggled to make dinner and put kids to bed and then vegged in front of the TV. Going to get an early night Now and hope it improves tomorrow!
I have so much I want to do but just exhausted. It's a very strange feeling! Anyway, I will try and catch up to,orrow. We are at a bbq but not until mid afternoon so will hopefully get some stuff done in the morning!

Evening! Actually did some flying today! Front room vacuumed and tidied; ratties all cleaned out and kitchen cleaned and vacuumed.
Won't be with you for the next couple of weeks as I'm away early in the morning so am sending lots of hugs, vibes, congrats and thoughts for you to take as needed.

Got back from my epic train journey (round trip of 8 hours) at dinner time and DH suggested eating out - result! Came home and hung curtains in both skids' bedrooms, changed bed linen in their rooms too, then had a bath and painted my finger and toenails.
That's all, I'm afraid...
In bed now, so night-night x0 -
