Counsel for the Consumers' Association is not present, as he wasn't expecting the case to start today.

So it's now been decided the Beavis case will start at 10:15am tomorrow.

Don't tell me, I'll guess. He got a phone call from a phone purchased by a ParkingEye employee?

I heard a rumour that PE's advocate turned up at 10, left at 11 and came back at 2.30 and charged for the full day.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

I'm sure PE will be issuing him a £100 PCN - no return within 4 hours!

  • It's quite fun, arguing if it's a license/contract/trespass etc.

Lets hope someone points out that "council tickets" they drabbed on about at the other appeals are a penalty, a punishment designed to punish an offender.

I've listened to about 15 mins this morning, the guy for Parking Eye (?De Val?) is having a new one torn for him by the law lards - So someone can park for a year for £85? Is it a Trespass or a contract? How does Mr Beavis know what's in the contract between PE and British Airways Pension Fund when he parks?

He looks exceptionally defensive in his body language, and the blond lady behind him is almost giggling.
