I'm really scared about my son

Just received an email from my son who is having problems with his marriage

The message he wrote has worried me

I'm scared he's done something silly

    Why would you think to hammer out a mesage on a message board to s bunch of strangers in this situation? Do you expect us to call him?

    I'm guessing this was just a bit of Friday night drunkeness on the part of the OP.

    Thank you jackomdj - I had tried to contact him and his wife before I wrote the first status.

    I managed to wake his wife up, she had to call an ambulance and is currently with him in hospital.

    It's two bus rides away, about an hour and a half minimum.

    My son is in a medically induced coma and the next 48 hours will be critical. I will be able to see him soon.
