Residential not allowing move to supported living.

The place i am living at is turning into supported living but they say that i would be moving even tho i was told before i moved here that i would be able to.
They say that my behavior (Ripping signs of walls an hitting staff) is not good enough and talk about independence levels.
And the horrible thing is that social services don't seam too interested in it even tho it would save money.

The thing is i do pay around £100 per week towards costs and i do not feel like i am getting any say in what is happing,

The thing is that i want to lower the cost to the tax payer but i do not feel like i am really given the chance.

And don't start me on the £24.90 left per week how little that is too help in getting training and getting a job (As even buses around here would eat that up in one).

And i am trying to find if they is any help from job centre plus but they are 9.5 miles away.

What should i do?

Immediately address your behaviour of hitting staff. Nothing is up for discussion in the system while you are hitting people.

Would you take a job where people will hit you?

Assuming this isn't a wind up.

You are 'not getting a say' because you have shown yourself to be unworthy of a say. Did the staff you hit get a say? Did the peoe who created the home have a say when you vandalised it? No. So you don't get a say.

£24.90 is enough to look for a job, as stopping being a thug is free.

Jobcentre is 9.5 miles away. What happened to the free bus fares for unemployed people scheme? It was supposed to be offered by most major bus operators. That would help.

AS you are online now I presume you have access to the internet.. can you use the online JobCentre search functionality?

Have you consulted a doctor with regards to your unsociable behavior? If you show you are trying to improve they are more likely to listen to you.

From previous posts the OP is on the autistic spectrum, hence their altered perception of what is acceptable behaviour. OP has been advised several times to discuss their issues with a support worker or an advocate.

I would agree with other comments about the OP's behaviour - even given their condition, it is unacceptable. I'm sorry to say OP that you need to get some more suitable coping mechanisms in place before you are moved to an even more restrictive environment.

OP, do you have a support worker or advocate? If not , ask about whether you can be allocated one.

As others posters have said, hitting people is never acceptable. Whoever provides the supported living will have legal duties towards staff and to other residents to ensure that they have a safe living and working environment, and at the moment, you would present a risk.

Similarly, damaging the property is anti social behaviour.

http://livingautism.co.uk/ might be a good place to start, to help you find suitable local support, if you don't currently have a support worker or advocate (assuming that you do have autism) Alternatively, look for online support services related to any specific diagnosis or disability you do have.
All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)

I mean traving to work would euthler be a unaffordable bus or a lickly 4 hour walk ( Yes i would still be limited to £24.90 if i get job).

Do you mean that your finances are managed and you are given an allowance?

If so, I'm pretty sure expenses you incurred in working would be dealt with by then under your finance management. Speak to your care co-ordinator about this and also about improving your behaviour.

It may also be worth enquiring as to whether you qualify for a disabled bus pass. Certainly it does extend to mental disabilities in Scotland providing certain requirements are met - such as having to travel to/from treatment activities or care/rehabilitation programmes (which a training course or job would qualify as imo even if you aren't receiving treatment).

Also if you receive certain benefits, you're entitled to a bus pass. Such as - in scotland - middle/higher rate of care component of DLA, attendance allowance or PIP.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

    Ok,
I manage my own money but have to pay towards care anything over £24.90 per week.
And it appers bus passes would only be available while on benefits in this area so as soon as i get a job :(

I pay £100.15 per week towards care.

At the moment i am in residential care and was promised i would be able to move in supported living when this place was to be re-registered as such but the management keep on trying to call me not capable of supported living and social services seam to be backing them up even tho that would be taking my legal rights away.

You need to prove to them that you are capable of living more independently. Given you physical outbursts, do you think you are doing this?
