Wonderful MT - you sound... well, at peace.

I totally second just giving stuff to charity when you can't be dealing with selling it. I gave away a huge pile a few months ago and the relief of having it gone far outweighed the guilt factor for the few quid I might have made, which was also neutralised anyway because the money went to a good cause.

So glad to hear that the lovely people in your life have shown up to remind you how fab you are :)

A farmer's market is a much better option. I'd love to have one local to me. With AnC you can get good value. I order organic chicken carcasses for soup and they do a veggie bundle for £6. When feeling poorly it can be a treat as you don't have to go out for it. Their apples are great and good value too. You can do once only delivery if you avoid the regular vegetable boxes too. :)

I have a very local farmer's market but the veg prices are outrageous. I do get eggs there sometimes, but usually I just go for a pootle and lunch out with a friend. Mind you, I paid £3.70 for a coffee last time and decided this may have to happen less often!

    Hi MT,
Glad you are making progress health-wise and you sound positive too. All good. Onwards and upwards.
You are the second person know to have bought a drill. My friend told me they are so much lighter and easier to use theses days. I might check it out.
I am a total bullet journal convert. I am indebted to Tink for introducing me to it. You are going to love it. I just know you will :)
Sounds like your week got off to a good start.

I usually just have to close my eyes to the prices as I rarely buy coffee out these days and it's either a treat or part of seeing friends. In defence of the market stall, it was astoundingly good coffee and much more worthy of the price than any of the usual coffee shops!

  • Hi MT. So glad to hear you are feeling better. Hope your trip to the shops was ok. Is it tomorrow you are back in work or next Wednesday. The time has gone so quick.

I am loving the fact that everyone is starting bullet journals. No one I know does one so it's great to talk about it in here.

Do you think we should all start a bullet journal thread lol.

Maybe Rosa needs to get the chocolate supplies out again. I promise to leave some for MT ;)
