Yesterday's announcement happened and all looks fine for me - for now. I'm part of Phase 2 I assume, which won't be looked at until June.
    shrk.gif

So between now and then I need to leave spendy town and make sure I stay very well within my means. I've been uhhming and ahhaing about that last credit card, but have decided to push on and get it paid. It's still 0% for 3 more years, which is minimal going out each month, but I'm in the mindset to remove debt and keep it gone, so I think I need to stick with that positivity.

I've heard nothing from my neighbour about an offer or any communciation on buying my house, so I have contacted the estate agent I want to use and arranged a viewing and photo session. The earliest they could make it is next Thursday!!!! I'm at work then, on Friday I do the radio shows and they can't do Saturday so I'm booked for next Sunday. I've decided not to chase my neighbour or update him as I've not been impressed with how he's been or his lack of communication after telling me to give him a key so he can arrange a surveyor! So, to be honest, I'd rather just put it on the market and deal with strangers. Far less stressful.

I think it's also time to figure out what my net worth currently is and update my signature to keep that clear in my mind.

In entertainment - I went out last night with my close friend J, and we went to the Soho Theatre to see a stand up comedian as well as dinner. He's always great to catch up with so that part was fun, but the comedian wasn't to my taste. She wasn't bad, I just couldn't relate to her jokes at all. Those that could seemed to love her.

Swagbucks have given me a lot of extra points the last 2 days which has been great. I was pretty much playing videos all day yesterday and I didn't have to play them too much to get the allocated 2 SBs. So I boosted that value a good amount. Today I think I was given an extra 10 or so.

I have a free evening tonight and desperately need an early night. I also need to finish up the preparations for my main radio show tomorrow.

I'm also starting my music therapy show tomorrow afternoon and I'm a bit nervous. One of the wards have asked us if we'd do a daily show playing specific music to help the patients and only 2 of us presenters have been asked, which is so flattering. The show is very specific in its requirements in order to give maximum help for the patients, so I'm feeling a bit nervous. It's just the unknown that's doing that though, so I'm sure once I'm there I'll be fine. It's only for an hour too.

So I'm up to 3 radio shows in one day!!! It's exhausting but I do love it!

    Happy Good Friday Eve everyone.

Glad your work news is good for now and to hear that I am not the only person who forgets work lunches :D

Good luck with the estate agent, and with your shows - music therapy radio sounds a fab idea

I love the Soho theatre although I've never seen stand-up there. Stand-up is a lottery. I come from a very funny family so I've often sat there and thought 'I have an uncle funnier than you and he's free,' on the other hand I've laughed so much I could hardly catch my breath the comic was so funny

So pleased you are okay job wise for now. It really comes over how much you enjoy your work and you seem to have a real passion for it :)

Re the neighbour, I think you are right to push ahead with the estate agent. He will just have to join the queue!

    Have a good day

Today is so beautiful out. I had my early night so feeling brighter today. I started the day with a beachside breakfast with my Mum as I have so much going on this weekend and didn't want to just desert her! The sun was shining, it was a bit cold and the skies were a beautiful blue! Perfect start to the day with doorstop toast and lashings of butter with a large latte! I'm very happy!

I had a chat with the Director today and I'm feeling much more settled now. Sadly I can't say anything more than that, as my outcome isn't in this phase, but I have more peace of mind and more life options. I need to write out all the options I do have as I will have to make some choices soon and I always need a long time to go over things.

I'm currently checking my music for sweary words! That's the most stressful part of doing hospital radio. I don't want to inadvertently make the poor patients feel worse because I've not double checked all my music!

I also need to remember to take the eggs in for the radio staff that I bought in the sale a few weeks ago! I have the exact correct number which is great, but I'm sad I didn't get myself one! Ho Hum!! That's just greed though, isn't it?

I hope everyone has lovely plans for their long weekend, even if those plans are to recoup and recharge and do very little.

I wouldn't have minded so much if I'd completely forgotten it and left it in the fridge! But putting it in my bag and then leaving it at home just seemed so ...... blonde of me!!! :D

Thank you. I'm excited about the new show, and very nervous. I hope it does the trick for some of the patients it's aimed at. MTxx

I don't think much can beat that doubled over struggling to breath laughing, can it?

You made me think about the passion for my job as I never feel that I do. But I actually do love my job, it's some of the people I have to work alongside that dampen that for me. Thank you!

I've seen a pile of white goods and rubbish that neighbour has dumped outside of his current place and it's apparently been there a few months, he's also dumped 2 cars by the garage he has, so I can't in clear conscience let my attached neighbours deal with that. Those neighbours have helped me beyond anything I could ever show my genuine gratitude for. They bring my bins in each week, he cuts my grass, if I get stuck while changing my car battery he'll come and do it for me and get rid of the old battery, the list goes on. I do feel I owe them. So if the buying neighbour contacts me then I'll just refuse his offer and move forward with an estate agent.

Thank you for confirming that's the right thing. Have a lovely Easter. MTxx

I think you deserve an egg too MT, in the very best chocolate - sadly it looks like they don't do egg shapes so have a bar anyway (this stuff is truly yummy!)

Your seaside breakfast sounds wonderful. Thank you for reminding me that I want a trip to the sea as soon as my exam is over!

Re leaving things at home, I have very little option about blondeness but there aren't many things that make me feel as silly as sitting down at work and opening the desk drawer for my laptop, when it isn't there...
