Thank you Jodles. After a meeting with the Director on Thursday I'm confused again if I'm going to be needed or not! I'm not sure how much more of this to'ing and fro'ing I can take to be honest. It doesn't sit well with my personality at all and I think the effects are spilling into other areas of my life. It's bringing me down a fair bit too and that's not something I'm comfortable with for longer than necessary.

Whatever happens I need to work in London though, so my plan is to continue with my Docker plans! :D

Thank you for the cheerleading Rosa! That really made me smile. :)

YNAB is a bit of a saviour for me with all of my accounts. Even now I've condensed things right down, I still need that help.

My house is up for sale!!!! I had the estate agent round at lunchtime today and decided to go for it!!! I think there's going to be a board put up soon too! I'm also happy with the photos they've put up. Although some people are going to be disappointed when they see it in real life!!!

I also popped to the radio after he left as I had asked the chairman to teach me the workings of the software that we use. So I'm a bit more clued up on what's what there now too. I've promised not to make any big changes without permission!!! ;) Although I will be amending bits here and there to get a feel for it all before I take on the bigger tasks. I also had one of the long time presenters speak to me on Friday and he's asked for some training, so I'm pleased about that too.

Based on a lot of new things I've been learning and working on, I think I should update my CV and make sure it's very relevant to the roles I want. Hopefully I won't need to use it, but I'd like to be prepared.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

I've started packing. When I felt serious about moving I stopped using certain things and there are also things I don't need to use until after I move (craft things) so those have been boxed up and sealed. It's helping to battle the room of doom too!

I definitely can't leave my current job just yet as I feel that if I'm going to maximise the benefit of buying in a regeneration area then I'm going to need another mortgage for a while. This will never be a mortgage I want to pay off so I'll take the longest mortgage they'll give me. On my part time hours, if my house sells for the expected price, I should have no issues getting a mortgage for what I want. I now need to start analysing the mortgages on offer!!!! This will be a 2-4 year plan I think. A riverside apartment will be great but it's never a long term plan for me.

I accidentally cooked my plastic colander yesterday!!!!! My hands have been shredded trying to cut off the plastic from the oven shelving. So I'm tempted to go and get my nails done as a bit of a distraction!!!!! It's in the budget but I have so much manual work to do it could be a waste. I think I should do my own!!!

Ive just realised, mentioning my oven, that I've not eaten much today. I'm suddenly starving hungry!!!! I'm off to remedy that right now.

I hope you're all having a fantastic start to this fresh week. MTxx

Super organised with a short AND longer term plans! And fingers crossed for a nice straightforward house buyer

Thank you lovely Sam. It was good to read that you currently have money in the bank! You may need to create a new diary as the name of your old one is no longer relevant? :D
