Thank you DIA. It took me some time to get here, but this forum and being able to talk to others in similar situations really did give me that push. You'll definitely get there with the great attitude you have.

Tomorrow is our definite work announcement date, and now we've been told when it will be I'm feeling very impatient to hear the plans.

On the financial front, I bought lots of lunch items to bring to work and last night I stayed up later than normal to prepare some bits. All stocked in the fridge overnight and added to my big bag this morning - which I forgot and left at home! So to avoid spending too much in the office canteen I popped into Tesco for a £3 meal deal! Got into work and realised I had a leaving lunch to go to!!!! Fortunately the leaving lunch was paid for by the company so I'll use today's meal deal tomorrow. I don't think my home prepared lunch (salad pita) will be too good tomorrow so I'm going to throw it out rather than risk turning myself off them for a while due to soggy innards!!! No one likes a soggy innard!!! :D

I paid off half my credit card this month and will pay the other half next month as I get good interest on that money while it's in my current account!!! :o I was also going to pop into TSB and ask them to check my account for cashback eligibility, but they've emailed me today to let me know that I earned £4.66 contactless cashback last month.

While I was off work for those 2 weeks recently I put some books and computer games together and sold them online, and I've had a few emails to tell me my payments are on their way, so whoop to that too!

This weekend I'll be packing things away and hopefully finding more sales fodder to get rid of. So much to think about, but I'm more of a plodder than a sprinter, so I'd like to make the most of the time I have before I move out of my house.

My toilet seat broke recently (at the bit where it attaches to the toilet itself) so I popped to buy one yesterday and managed to get a really cheapy for £4.97!!! Amazing price. It's not the best, but it looks ok and will do me for a few months or so.

It was SO nice being able to have a shower again!!!

I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Almost to the hump!!!! ;)

Not only is it the hump day, but it's also a short week for most people with another short week to look forward to! Add to that some chocolate, some Spring weather and, if you're Christian, no doubt some lovely church services going on, then I think this needs more than 1 set of dancers!!!

    Doesn't it? :D

The only negative is that our long weekend is cut short by an hour! They've kept that quiet this year, haven't they????

Financially all is going ok. I went out to lunch for the leaving do yesterday and it seems that work will be paying for it. I've also brought in yesterday's purchased lunch, so no waste there either!

My sold items have now been paid for, and that's in my account now. I get paid next Thursday, so not long to wait for a new YNAB page!!!! Exciting!!!

Also, at work, they've installed brand new coffee machines, so to commemorate such an event they've been giving us all free coffees this month. So lots of positives and some much needed savings for this month.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous week and that you're all looking forward to your lovely Easter weekend. May the Easter Bunny be forgetful enough to knock a few times at your door!

It definitely did mean that!!! :D

I've looked for your diary but I don't think you currently have one?

I don't yet. I keep thinking I should, but it seems a little scary...actually, a lot scary

I'm just in the process of putting together a plan for my last bit of debt/saving plan which will take me through til the end of the year. I thought I might dip my toe in the diary world by documenting that project. It'll take me a few weeks to get the plan together (I'm an ambler til I get going, then I'm super dedicated!).

Til then though, I shall sit back and enjoy the dancers :j

I understand that worry of getting into the debt diary. You'll be surprised how useful it can be, especially when you have lovely people visiting to cheer you on. But you also have to be ready otherwise you just end up not updating it. Definitely let us know when you do go for it and I'll pop over and say hello.

I do like airing the dancers on a Wednesday. Even though I work part time, Wednesday is still my midweek so we can all enjoy the party!

I was very excited to see the three sets of dancing ladies! Woohoo! Its lovely to see how all your hard work has paid off with the mortgage etc, inspirational! I think renting first is a great idea, no pressure!

Cant wait for easter eggs, love chocolate way too much! Hope work stuff went ok yesterday. Its always annoying to be organised then forget lunch, and your right, no one wants soggy innards!! Fab news on the credit card as well!

A short week for everyone definitely deserved the 3 sets, thanks Jodles.
