I know sss some of the stuff was whizzed through! I just realised I have an interesting way of spelling another lol you can see my excitement!
Think I will hold off switching and opening accounts till we move in as credit scores are still recovering from the mortgage application. Just realised within a week I should have another £3.05 from Halifax due to their cash back on current account, didn't think I would benefit from it due to the shops on there but every little helps soon be up to £200 in no time since I started saving just from unexpected income and vouchers! I love being savvy and I know I'm not the saviest out there!Target roughly 75% LTV before Feb/March 2021 (20% LTV = £40,999) - OP'd so far 763.51 out of 5 yr goal - £40,235.49 to go!:rotfl:0 -

Hi Hollyboll
I’ve literally just read your diary over the past few weeks too, can’t remember if I posted or not, I get lost in the forum and diaries. Thanks for your support, yes monthly sim arrived a couple of days ago but OH not v happy as he wanted a shiny new phone too but atleast he is in contact with people again now. Not sure how it works really as we got him signed up for a month so not sure if we have to call them and say can we extend or it automatically extends then we just tell them when we want to stop it. Will have to make a call.
My understanding - and I could well be wrong - is that after the first 30 days you only have to give them a few days notice if you don't want it to go into next month. So I'm planning to let mine run the very cheap (free if cash back tracks) first 2 months and then a couple of weeks before the end see what else is around that i could switch to (told you I'm a tart!)Fleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit0 -
OH got paid 480.21 to Furniture, 100 to pay me back so putting that to op this month
3.05 Cashback in account from HF
May take a back seat OH thought we would have 4x as much to spend on furniture as we will when we move in so he is a little disappointed, will still try my best though!Target roughly 75% LTV before Feb/March 2021 (20% LTV = £40,999) - OP'd so far 763.51 out of 5 yr goal - £40,235.49 to go!:rotfl:0 -

Why not spend the voucher to get the 5% bonus, and move £12.90 from current account to mortgage? Best of both worlds that way0

So lots touch a little, new job so pay cut for 6 months but worth it in the long run. Lost where I am with the furniture fun, safe net and house extras but think I have worked out the totals. All house fund saved for.
Will only detail where the overpayments have come from to simplify things, moving within the next month or two now!
Just realised I had detailed them just didn't update sig, 3.74 Salary and 50.81 Salary too, treating myself to a new camera too.
