    Hi Hollyboll

I’ve literally just read your diary over the past few weeks too, can’t remember if I posted or not, I get lost in the forum and diaries. Thanks for your support, yes monthly sim arrived a couple of days ago but OH not v happy as he wanted a shiny new phone too but atleast he is in contact with people again now. Not sure how it works really as we got him signed up for a month so not sure if we have to call them and say can we extend or it automatically extends then we just tell them when we want to stop it. Will have to make a call.

Hello Lippy1923 thanks for popping by, Thanks you, I feel positive about it at the mo, know it may not always be possible but every bit helps I feel and if I have this mind set and only make one op then I will have achieved something as some people never think of OPing . I just think being MF will be like winning the lottery, a weight off of our minds and freedom.

Read my opening post and I dont know if I'm confusing myself and overcomplicating things but after our 2 yr fix ends I'd like to see if we can pay some of the help to buy loan from our mortgage and over payments without extending mortgage free date or increasing monthly payments too much. WIll see when we get there. I fell this would be more sensible as theres soo much about how fast house prices are increasing I feel it will be more beneficial to buy a bit or chunk sooner rather than waiting for the 5 years to end when they start adding intrest. I know its interest free but worry that it will get too expensive to buy it from the loan people due to inflation.

Anyway instead of constant posting I have been wrting bits and bobs down to post all at once.

Just added an extra 2 cards to my quidco account to pick up a few pennies, was hoping to add my parents as they dont do things with technology much but has a limit of 5 cards :(

Been trying to let the swagbucks videos run on my phone, chrge phone at work. Installed views logic through swagbucks got 1000 sb and will hopefully earn £5 pm from the app thing, not sure if i have synced it up to TV correctly. Hopefully get the swagbucks b4 xmas for some treats for the OH, p.s he also wants a guitar ( know this will gather dust) but if thats what he wants...

Capturing reciept on check out smart even if I havent brought anything relevant as it puts you in for a draw to win £. Will do Asda shopping through TCB and Asda in OH name as 5.50 cash back and then will get the referal money too.

Also a lonesum special K bar turned up in the post. Not sure where that came from but I still welcomed it!
    Target roughly 75% LTV before Feb/March 2021 (20% LTV = £40,999) - OP'd so far 763.51 out of 5 yr goal - £40,235.49 to go!:rotfl:

  • Hi Monie :) Back in post number 9 you mentioned multiple apps running videos that pay you to watch... Your last post mentioned swagbucks, what are the others please? Which ones do you recommend? If we can fire up videos and pretty much ignore them while they earn us a little money it seems it would be silly not to :D

    Hi SSS

I prefer Swagbucks but you reach a daily limit on it, I have only given SB a good go as i just do it on my phone and can only run one at a time. I charge my phone at home as it seems to drain the battery and feel if i did it lot at home I would be paying more in electric to charge my phone :) The other one was an app not very well known I think it was called advert app or something.

Pay day a few days ago

1.21 from salary to OP was meant to be more but dont know what happened to pay this month but still wanted to do a little,

Got a £66 cheque for uniform rebate thing so £66 to OP yay they are getting bigger lol and £10 towards my sisters wedding present, dont even know when the date is yet and I have started saving, normally I'm a scrooge but want to get her something a bit nice :)

50 safe net and 400.00 furnature, will make standard OP PM out of salary atleast 5.00 as they have updated my tax code.

    Hi jodles16

It is exciting but worried we (I) will pick things we end up disliking. Also budget we are not millionaires, let's face it it all adds up and I probably ly wouldn't be on here if I was rolling in it lol. Maybe it is addictive.

Just watched martin Lewis money show. I recently switched bank accounts to gain the benefits but there's some people on there that do it 8 times. Think I need to join that club too but may need anoyher spreadsheet!

I loved that segment of the show, felt totally vindicated when I could turn to OH and say - "See, I'm not the only weirdo that does this kind of thing!" :D
