Hello, thought id give an update on the situation, firstly csgohan4 this is not a troll thread get a grip of yourself, and I have only just walked in from work so very sorry for the delay and ive also only just now heard back from one broker vis email as ive missed calls, I have missed calls from others and will speak to them all tomorrow.
Anyway the guy I have just heard back from said,
"I have been looking at lenders and at the moment have only found one that will lend with a landlord gifted equity. They are not too forth coming with regard defaults, just say to apply for a decision in principle and see what happens. One other potential option is that your wife buys the property on her own, assuming that she fits the affordability criteria etc".
Also from yesterday a very nice lady offered to our guarantor which I need to tell the broker about. So im sorry I dont have any more information than that at the moment. But at least its not a no, I can still hang on hoping for now.
shortchanged I dont expect you to believe my answers but I have spoke as honest as I can, and if this goes all wrong which is very possible I will be honest about it here.
Just so everyone knows I have only submitted one application that got declined nearly a month ago, im now talking to brokers to to re apply.0 -
Well, this thread brightened up an uneventful lunch time.
If this person manages to get a mortgage with no deposit, little to no money to cover legal expenses and with a default - then there is something very wrong with the world.
How is there something wrong with a working couple getting a mortgage on a property that they are currently renting, ok we have no deposit right now but we do have the money to cover legal fees, and so what I have a default, one of us has a default, and family and landlords do often gift deposits there is nothing wrong in that, how can my situation compare to to whats wrong in this world, I have a default from a debt ive paid off, ive always paid off everything, there are a lot worse people out there who just get there debts written off.0 -

Thanks for updating the thread Darcy2009!
Are you paraphrasing your broker or does he really have such bad English? Did you copy-and-paste that email?0 -
