on this initial email you should sound exasperated to go through such a rigmarole as a disabled person, to re-enact the scene and take pictures ?

you dont get the police asking criminals to re-enact the scene and take photos for the CPS do you ? lol , NO

if they dont have cctv , that is their problem, not yours (because they dont monitor parking, its an excuse to make lots of money as a sc@m against people with vehicles that have registration plates on them) - a honeytrap to make a profit

I sometimes wonder if these morons know what they are asking people to do

they are the ones alleging a transgression, so its their job to prove it, and to prove they acted lawfully, but clearly in your case they have no made "reasonable adjustments" under the EA 2010 , SO THEY HAVENT A LEG TO STAND ON IN ANY COUNTER CLAIM BY YOU

ask them to prove how they or their contractor acted lawfully under the EA 2010 in making reasonable adjustments for a disabled person to park and use a mobility scooter to get to their appointment (and go about their lawful business without discrimination) ?

ask them to prove how their contractor acted lawfully in disobeying the BPA CoP by ticketing a vehicle clearly displaying a blue badge in a disabled bay ?

so a strong forceful email, polite to a point but pointing out the "b***din obvious" to a presumably fit and able bodied civil servant presumably with his own parking space who hasnt been very forthcoming so far, knows about the guidelines but didnt try to help you out, more like washing their hands of it, which is discrimination against the disabled of the worst kind IMHO

I doubt they would refute what you say , as its clear to a moron that you are in the right here , but name dropping and pointing out their errors is how you always get politicians and civil servants etc to realise their errors and usually they tend to want it swept away under the carpet , whereas you dont need this so should highlight it strongly , keeping copies for your MP etc too (hence why it needs to be polite , as the trust fergie is dealing with tried to make out he was some sort of oxymoron who was belligerent and rude, which he apparently wasnt - ie:- always blame the other person, which is ingrained into our civil service)

also tell them that if this isnt sorted out promptly you want the full name and address of the person your MP or the other MP`s I have mentioned should write to when you take the complaint up the ladder , so to speak ( or the press for that matter, like the Daily Mail OR local press , or Dom Littlewood ;) )

dont use an acronym like silver, just put a name to it, or get it sent off by someone who cares for you, as a concerned relative , with your consent like you would if it was DOM on the telly ;)

the trick here is getting them to put pandora back into her box ! , by making them realise the extra work involved if they dont cancel the charge

I am afraid my pm,s are turned off and I dont give out my email address either, sorry

nothing personal and not aimed at you, just the way it is to stop extra curricular emails and pm,s as there are always forum members who want bespoke advice which I dont give "off the forum"

if you post it on here, in the open, even if its redacted, I will give my viewpoint, no problem there

    Hi

Just one clarification I am sending them proof of a valid BB. I am only sending the FRONT display (which does not include the name and identity of the holder.)

It has a long number reference under the date - is that ok to to show them or should i block it out.?

    Regards

show the last 4 to 6 characters, like you would with a credit card or debit card

if it has an expiry date showing, then show the year only, or month and year

tell them the full unredacted copy will be shown to a judge if it goes that far :)

    Hi

I re emailed them and got this response:

In order to challenge the PCN you were issued, you will need to contact APCOA directly; the address for appeals should be on the ticket. I am sorry that I cannot be of any further help, however, as a private company APCOA have their own appeals process that needs to be followed.

Thank you for taking the time to send us your concerns. I have made our Facilities department, who liaise with APCOA as part of the contract that is in place, aware of your concerns as well as it of course within our interests to have knowledge of any issues patients have with their car parking.

    Any suggestions please??

    Regards
