Hi all
Downstairs windows all clean and shiny - and now its chucking it down!! Few weeds decluttered, dog walked and shepherds pie made for tea. Still need to think about that summer challenge.
Someone is coming to look at old car tonight - fingers crossed they buy it!0 -
HHC at 5.30 anyone, I have not achieved much today so need to get going.
But Valli I have bought a new set of matching pegs!! Too many odds left did find an reduced set at Sainsburys so snapped it up.0 -
Tidying, paperwork shuffled and front steps and path scrubbed. We have a baby seagull in the garden and it is cra**ing everywhere. We get one most years and when they learn to fly they're off, but in the meantime it needs to bung a cork up it's bottom.
How did you do FBO? I was thinking of you and wishing you well - did it do any good?Better is good enough.0 -
Evening all
Set the DW before the paid stuff, went an hour early so I could leave an hour and a half early for cricket, I'll do the extra 30 minutes tomorrow. School team won the county plate so very happy.
DS2 delighted to have got a 1st in his first year at uni so happy all round.
Off out with friends this evening so just time to do dinner and tidy up from that before heading out. I'll set the WM before bed - ah that is the total of my flying. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

yes I am - and North West too! I used to live in Oswaldtwistle. My kids and my sisters kids also call it a maiden.:cool:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening,
Bonkers day today with lots of irritating stuff including DD (4) announcing at 5.30 tonight that there is a nursery party tomorrow and she has to take some food (but doesn't know what) and can wear a party dress instead of uniform. No letter in her bag, nothing on the newsletter, no communication. It's just typical of them to expect the 4yr olds to remember what the grown ups CBA to tell parents.
That's after finding out at roughly the same time last night that DS needed a green tshirt for today. Can you tell I'm pished off with them? I've no party food in the house and I can hardly go shopping now it's past their bedtime.
Aaaaannnddd relax!
Lol.
I have done a bit in the kitchen so it's presentable, but not wiped cupboards or anything. Was out from 6am till almost 5.30pm so not had much chance. Did clear up after tea which was scoffed in the garden, lovley sunny evening here...
Also squashed more cardboard into green bin as they are coming to empty tomorrow. Every little helps
I've updated the list for tomorrow - you may need some support :rotfl: and I'm going to declutter my lotions and potions I think!Bossymoo

Evening all! I've been busy with normal evening stuff since posting last. Tomorrow will be busy - early start to fit routines in before collecting DS1 from work and going to work myself. Staff meeting at the end of the day followed by tea, work run for DS1 and dog training. Breathing scheduled for half past eight lol.
Flying will happen after work on Thursday (last day - woohoo) or Friday.
ETA I know how you feel, bossy. DS2 is involved in the Y6 leavers' play. Told me last night that he needs a red T-shirt asap. We tried to borrow without success, I spoke to his teacher this morning and we ended up buying a pack of 2 polo shirts which he'll never wear again. I am cross that they needed three tops but only had two and for some reasons DS2 was left without. I'll have to try to sell on facebay.
Left of my extras for today:
handwash a couple more items
re-home at least some laundry
marking
check a disk
Prep tomorrow's meals
Wonderbra Wednesday! - Living room, hall, stairs
Level 1
Vaccuum your floors
Level 2
Clear and wipe down the mantle

Midweek "me time" That will be 'me and the dog-time', then...0 -
It's been an educational few days for me. Compact living space and limited stuff on holidays makes keeping the place clean fairly simple.
