Morning all. Need to get some order in the LR this morning before tackling the kitchen list.
Welcome back returners.
And whoever asked about morning routines - When my children were little it was all I could do to get them up and out to school in the mornings, and then just clean one room a day around the paid stuff. Routines change as they grow and do more (not flying unfortunately). Now I only have me and the dogs to think about in the morning but still get up at 6am, then I can just relax in the evenings after the paid stuff and dinner.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning everyone
I am another early starter. I dont have to leave the house until 8.20 but I get up at 6 most mornings so that I have an hour to get things done. Everyone else is in bed and I can just get on, then it leaves my evening free for other things.
Of course I just have to stay away from the internet otherwise the hour is easily wasted!!
This morning I have emptied the dw, washed the cupboard doors, cleaned the worktops, had a general tidy and washed the kitchen and ds loo floors.
Need to think about my summer challenge today. Have a good Tuesday everyone x0 -
Morning routines vary here, but will hopefully settle down a bit more when DS1 has moved out. They'll still depend on whether we have the dog or DS1 and whether I'm working or not. Never gets boring...
I've greatly reduced today's list because I also have errands to run and need to re-home a load of laundry from various places downstairs.

Morning
Froddy, yes I too love my car tax, on my old car it was £260 per year to drop to £10 per year is great, provided I don't sell the car it will stay this way, and not be affected by the budget of this year.
Valli well done on your finds, I bought 2 chickens the other day for £1.50 reduced from £5, cooked ones, so took meat off bones and froze in portions. Hence HM chicken curry last night.

Morning all
Struggling here to think clearly (My head feels like its full of cotton wool and I just want to hibernate) so work yesterday took a lot longer than I thought which means today I still have work to finishI'm out delivering tonight, but have to make a run to the local school with some delivery notes as well, and I still might need ink which means running to Mr A & hoping they have some.
Plan for today is to do HHI, have a shower, then get stuck in with paid stuff as its just a newsletter to write, drop some cards into DD's old school, go to the shops/PO to get change, go to Mr A if I need ink, then I can tackle the kitchen, get tea on, vacuum/mop through downstairs, more ironing if I have time, out to work for 6pm hopefully...the reality won't be anything like that I bet :rotfl:
Summer challenges:
Repaint Livingroom & finish decorating it
Fasten backs on to all the bookcases properly
Decorate kitchen / bathroom (should be able to do these at the same time as its basically painting in both)
Decorate DD's bedroom
Decorate my bedroom
Decorate hall/stairs/landing
Purge DD's school work, file away stuff she no longer needs and put into files stuff she might need during her GCSE's!
Scan old documents then shred
Put all files back on my computer
This week:
Accounts
Tax return
Tax credits renewal
Thursday: Me time - last full day of school
