Morning all. Need to get some order in the LR this morning before tackling the kitchen list.

    Welcome back returners.

And whoever asked about morning routines - When my children were little it was all I could do to get them up and out to school in the mornings, and then just clean one room a day around the paid stuff. Routines change as they grow and do more (not flying unfortunately). Now I only have me and the dogs to think about in the morning but still get up at 6am, then I can just relax in the evenings after the paid stuff and dinner.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning everyone

I am another early starter. I dont have to leave the house until 8.20 but I get up at 6 most mornings so that I have an hour to get things done. Everyone else is in bed and I can just get on, then it leaves my evening free for other things.

Of course I just have to stay away from the internet otherwise the hour is easily wasted!!

This morning I have emptied the dw, washed the cupboard doors, cleaned the worktops, had a general tidy and washed the kitchen and ds loo floors.

Need to think about my summer challenge today. Have a good Tuesday everyone x

Morning routines vary here, but will hopefully settle down a bit more when DS1 has moved out. They'll still depend on whether we have the dog or DS1 and whether I'm working or not. Never gets boring...

I've greatly reduced today's list because I also have errands to run and need to re-home a load of laundry from various places downstairs.

    Marvellous Monday! - Bathrooms!
    Level 1
    Clean the sink
    Clean the loo
    Level 2
    Clean the bath

    Terrific Tuesday! - Kitchen!
    Clean your hob
    Meal plan

    ETA - My extras
Clean litter tray and sweep bathroom floor, handwash a few items, text a friend, re-home laundry, WM x ?, errands x 2, dog walk, marking, check a disk

I am trying to avoid eating breakfast as think the number on the scales today could be a little dodgy!!!

I can't believe we are up to page 4 already!
    Welcome back all returners.

Not sure what else I'll manage today as out for a late birthday lunch with d sis and will probably go for a walk afterwards.

    Morning

Froddy, yes I too love my car tax, on my old car it was £260 per year to drop to £10 per year is great, provided I don't sell the car it will stay this way, and not be affected by the budget of this year.

Valli well done on your finds, I bought 2 chickens the other day for £1.50 reduced from £5, cooked ones, so took meat off bones and froze in portions. Hence HM chicken curry last night.

    All ironing is done

    Morning all

Struggling here to think clearly (My head feels like its full of cotton wool and I just want to hibernate) so work yesterday took a lot longer than I thought which means today I still have work to finish :( I'm out delivering tonight, but have to make a run to the local school with some delivery notes as well, and I still might need ink which means running to Mr A & hoping they have some.

Plan for today is to do HHI, have a shower, then get stuck in with paid stuff as its just a newsletter to write, drop some cards into DD's old school, go to the shops/PO to get change, go to Mr A if I need ink, then I can tackle the kitchen, get tea on, vacuum/mop through downstairs, more ironing if I have time, out to work for 6pm hopefully...the reality won't be anything like that I bet :rotfl:

    Summer challenges:
Repaint Livingroom & finish decorating it
Fasten backs on to all the bookcases properly
Decorate kitchen / bathroom (should be able to do these at the same time as its basically painting in both)
    Decorate DD's bedroom
    Decorate my bedroom
    Decorate hall/stairs/landing
Purge DD's school work, file away stuff she no longer needs and put into files stuff she might need during her GCSE's!
    Scan old documents then shred
Put all files back on my computer

    This week:

    Accounts
    Tax return
    Tax credits renewal
Thursday: Me time - last full day of school :p

    Marvellous Monday! - Bathrooms!
    Level 1

Clean the loo - cleaned it yesterday & woke up to black mouldy ick in it so it looks like its never been cleaned
    Level 3
    Wash a window or two.

    Terrific Tuesday! - Kitchen!

Clear your floors and give them a mop!
    Level 2
Wipe your small appliances and underneath them
Wipe down cupboard and drawer fronts - don't forget your kick boards!
[STRIKE]Wipe out the fridge[/STRIKE] Did this Sunday before bin day ;)
    Level 3
    Clean a window
Clean your hob - and your oven too if you get carried away :)
    Extras
    • Run your dishwasher and / or washing machine on a hot, clean cycle
    • [STRIKE]Do you need extra supplies for summer? Squash? Cereal? Baking stuff? Craft stuff?[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Meal plan[/STRIKE] Already done for the month in theory unless I grab some reduced bargains anywhere ;)
    • [STRIKE]Have you got lots stuck to your fridge with magnets? (Maybe that's just me!) if so, can some be recycled now?[/STRIKE] Just magnets on my fridge, but I've sorted through the post its stuck to my calendar :o
Okay, time to get this ironing started or I won't have clean clothes for today (had to buy new due to weightloss so they're nearly all in the ironing pile), and DD won't have clothes for school (especially as she's in own clothes Thursday for a trip to Alt0n T0wers so we'll be spending tomorrow night doing the "no, that's too tight, no thats got a tiny hole in it, what's that down that?" outfit choosing ;) At least I know she's wearing jeans, t-shirt, hoody & trainers as thats basically all she owns :rotfl:)

    Laters

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

OH away to work, I'm not long up, my routine is all over the place due to the school holidays. Kids are still sleeping so I'm going to make the most of it and get cracking with my list. Paid stuff later, oh! the joys.

    FBO good luck today x

Valli great bargain x I managed to get 2 whole legs of lamb for £1.24 each at asda it was one in quite an affluent area I counted 3 Ferraris in the car park! I did roast lamb, Rogan Josh and a casserole out of 1 the other is in the freezer. I love finding a bargain!

HHC at 11.10 if anyone cares to join me?
