The average price of diesel has fallen below 113p per litre for the first time since January 2010, according to the information group Experian Catalist.

In the last week, supermarkets have cut prices by between 2p and 4p per litre.

Last month, diesel became, on average, cheaper than petrol for the first time since July 2001.

    BBC News

A Tesco, in a town about eight miles from us, has diesel at 107.9ppl. With the current Tesco fuel offer, we have twenty pence per litre to use. So that would bring it down to just 89.9ppl, with a tank that takes eighty litres, that's quite a saving. It means I am paying thirty seven pounds less for a tank than I was just over a year ago (just the once mind, you can only use the vouchers the once).
