Petrol vs diesel prices

The wholesale price of diesel at the refineries last week was 5p less than the price of petrol. That's why the price of diesel is coming down.

I think the point is that the ever-increasing complexity will cause more buyers more problems, so more people will continue to decide that the lower economy of petrol is worth it for the lower hassle.

I heard something a few days ago, regarding a new diesel refining plant, in Saudi Arabia, meaning there will more diesel on the market and this might drive prices down.

Unless they've changed the rules of the game, behind my back - the Saudis do not allow diesels cars into the country.

Have you checked the price of petrol in SA - cheaper than water.

petrol went up by 1p in our local tesco diesel is the same price

Demand for Diesel/Gas oil drops during the summer months, winter months see a much greater increase in demand for heating so the price increases.
