I collect Tesco clubcard vouchers also,and i use them to book through the French Life company,the only problem is,you have to pay the deposit yourself (£150) then pay the remainder with vouchers.

I have paid for my sept 2005 holiday already,and i have vouchers so far to get approx £400 off my 2006 holiday.

Hi, I have been saving my Tesco vouchers instead of using them instore. I have just sent off for RAC membership for 2 persons which has saved nearly £100. I was saving for a holiday but could anybody tell me how much different the prices are for booking with vouchers?

The prices are the same in the French Life brochure.

But you have to send in the clubcard vouchers to Tesco,who will convert them to a voucher the you can use a French Life,Italian Life etc only then when you are in possession of those can you actually ring and make the booking.

I did make a mistake when i made my recent booking,i sent in for too many vouchers,so i have a £60 one here doing nothing (it has to be used by april 2005) so it is going to waste,although it can also be used at a Bella Pasta chain of restaurants.

It has my name on it,but if it can be used by someone else,it's going fee!

What is the best deal currently to spend about 4000 nectar points. Does not have to be all at once or one deal. I see you can get £5 off TGIF and brewsters but both these places have £5 off vouchers floating around so does not make sense to use nectar points. Any other suggestions? would hate to use them at sainsburys formoney off!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, or if anyone else has already noticed, but up until 31/3/05 Ford Dealers are offering 5000 nectar points (£27 worth if you use Martin's calculator) if you test drive the new Ford Focus. I've just come back from a 30 min test drive with the Ford Dealer in Hull which was quite good fun - i used the voucher that came with my Nectar points update and I have to say the saleman asked for it before adding the points to my card. However the offer is stated on the Nectar website, so it looks like anyone can use it. Have posted the link here.

Yes I did this too, well worthwhile. I have raided Sainsburys a couple of times on a Friday afternoon and purchased all reduced and two for £x deals etc. (i.e. the burgers posted a while back which when reduced work out as Sainsburys paying you to take them away!) and I still have points left to spend!!!

I have found a way of getting better value out of Sainsburys by registering for a second Nectar card.

This came about when my daughter (who rarely shops at Sainsburys) received her Nectar statement with coupons attached which were far more rewarding than mine - she had £2.50 off a £25 shop whereas I had £5 off an £80 shop).

It would seem Sainsburys look to see how much you spend by the number of points you accumulate/redeem and try to encourage low spend shoppers by offering better discounts.

Therefore, I registered a second card and received £2.50 off my £25 shop and 2000 extra points on a £25 shop.

I used the Nectar card with one purchase to get get the 2000 points then used it once more on a very small spend to redeem the vouchers.

Now waiting for this months statements to compare offers to see if this is still a rewarding idea.

Can any one tell me what AOL points are please?? They are on the list but i havent got a clue what they are. I am currently on AOL so any extrat benefits from them would be a bonus!!
