Would you give up an annual discount of £25.20 in order to earn an extra 1,600 Nectar points??????

    Help!

No - 1600 Nectar points is only equal to £16 (spent at Adams) or £8 spent elsewhere. You'd be better off sticking with the money off. :)
  • (*Presumably, because there's no indication on any of the bills received so far as to the scale of the discount).

Codger, the discounts are 'inbuilt' in EDF prices so you will never see the discounts on your bill.
  • we spend about £250 a week on diesel, are there cards which reward for this?. I know you can collect nectar points with BP but they are often most expensive and we seldomly go near a tesco to use clubcard. Maybe a credit card which offers good rewards would be the answer, however, credit score not too good at mo. Any suggestions? Cheers.

    Hi,

    Can anyone help?

Seeing that from October Sainsbury's is cutting the amount of nectar points it is giving you on petrol, for 2points for ever pound spent. To 1 point for ever litre spent.

I'm now trying to work out who is offering the best deal on points on petrol.

I have Sainsburys, Tesco, and Shell close.

I think Tesco, and Shell kind of work out the same i think.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Cheers

That means Sainsbury's will only be giving you 0.5p (In Nectar points) per £1 spent on fuel and Tesco will remain the same at 1p per £1 spent.

The Tesco 'Fuel Reward' might be of some use to you? - http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/finance/creditcards/businesscc/fuel_reward.html

You can send unwanted Adams Kids vouchers to Nectar for a full refund of the nectar points.
