when the new one rate pension comes in ( is it next year?) then pension credit will stop anyway.
there will be top ups via premiums for disability but pension credit as it is now, will stop.
so you have got your wish!0 -

It will be interesting how they then deal with children for pensioners.

As far as I know child tax credit contains an element for disabled children. Cutting the level child tax credit is withdrawn will take money off disabled children and that is the lowest of the low. This country and the pompous foul tyrants running it should be ashamed.0

I will be doing the same and will be vigorously and robustly chasing it up. They are tory so I will ask their view on the fact that I may as well quit my job and be fully reliant on benefits bearing in mind call me Dave's campaign to ensure work pays.0 -

Has anyone worked out if they'll be better off? We are looking at an annual cut of around £2-£3k according to calculators - that's 5-7 months childcare for us!
According to one calculator, we'd be £1900 worse off if I kept working but only £1300 worse off a year if I quit working - it's madness!
I am now worried about the impact on my household. It makes no difference if I work 8 hours or 38 hours as it still telling me we are worse off:mad:0 -

Anyone getting tax credits will be worse off unless they are out of work benefits or earn below 3850 a year.
