    I
    What Revolut actually state is

Our rates mirror the Spot Interbank exchange rate....

    https://revolut.com/faq
The card automatically converts into the local currency at the perfect interbank rate so you don't have to worry about it.
    I
    Still waiting for your figures.
You appear to be happy to post here every few minutes, but strangely refuse to add sample rates within your posts. Why is that? Your time still too "worthy"? :)

I have not exchanged anything. I just put £10 to benefit £5. So There is £15 is now siting in my account. For the benefit of member in this forum, I will post my figure when I have it.

Thank you. That is all we ask.
We are not all sheep. No need to depend on marketing speak.
The figures will tell the story.
The more people who post what they are offered, the better the picture.
I have no idea as to why you wasted your time arguing the point, when you had no figures to back it up.
I at least had two examples to back my argument. You should know better than just believing everything that you read.
Can you check their exchange rate offer without actually going through with a purchase?

Oh, if you two have quite finished, yes. Depending on which currency pair you have selected for conversion on the app, the GBP/EUR, GBP/USD or EUR/USD (or vice versa) rates are displayed to four decimal places, in continual fluctuation. It looks like variation occurs in sometimes less than a second so it is probably at 0.5secs as Matty told us. I can see that the rates are near enough exactly equal to the XE.com rates at the moment they roll over every 60 seconds, and to the fluctuating 'bid' price of the interbank rate on fxstreet.com

I just wanted to see actual figures at a set point in time. I didn't need the rest. :)

A pity that it takes a Newbie(Alklha) to be the first to post actual figures.

As the rate displayed on the Revolt app is flickering up and down constantly, and the timing of submitting a post here is only to the nearest minute, it does not give an accurate comparison. It's better to compare the figures on screen in real time and over time to have a proper comparison.

Not at all. There is always a high and a low. As long as it doesn't fall below the low, there's no problem.
I don't have any problem with Revolut. The information on the exchange rates offered come only from what is reported via this forum.
  • Hi All,

I have been reading a lot of the reviews on the Revolut pre-paid mastercard and was wondering if people would recommend it for people like myself who are due to go travelling for a year? Does anyone know what would happen in situations such as losing my card in say Australia or Thailand? Is there a process in place to block my card and sending me out a new one?

    Thanks

The figures above appear to reflect published Interbank rates as suggested.
Perhaps the earlier figures were reported incorrectly.
