:( I could cry ! I have been spending every moment I had cleaning and de-rusting my 30 year old silver cross pram til it gleamed- just one problem as I mentioned last week when getting it down from the loft I could only find 3 wheels and even after searching for hours I could not find the other one. I decided to order a new one- same size, spring mechanism -sorted-
I need the pram for sunday- my MIL 85th birthday and as she bought the pram originally I thought it would be rather fetching if we walked to hers with her new 12 week old great grandson in the silver cross- You never know we could bump into Kate pushing baby Charlotte - they only live 3 miles away-
The wheel arrived, perfect size, it has the spring mechanism but it wouldn't fit,and on messaging the silver cross spare place, he tells me the model I have is early 70s and the wheel wont fit:eek:----yet the photo of a wheel on the website is like mine.
So if anyone has a 14 inch silver cross wheel spare please let me know

Got a bit of a wild idea that if someone could do a message that we could all post on our facebook account(s), it might go viral and we could get the missing wheel.
    Is that idea doable? :o

This is where I come unstuck. Item was £1.99, postage was £6. So still a massive bargain for it but it is bugging me that I could have £2-3 less for it :o

On balance I think I'll leave it :o

    Think £8 is a bargain.
I have tried to have a clear out, selling on ebay, the seller would have been charged 80p fees, 48p paypal fees, 2.80 postage = £4.08 charges = sold item for £3.92 less packaging, less time, fuel, listing fee perhaps! I feel really sorry for sellers who are trying to recoup a few quid for their stuff, never to be given feedback or for buyers not to be grateful of their lovely bargain.

    Just my opinion! x

There's a Coach Built Pram Spares page on Facebook, have you asked them?

What was even worse was when I did a car boot once, a woman trod all over some of my stuff, then tried haggling for it for next to nothing because it was dirty!

    Never again....

Wont be like last time I went with toothache.
Needed a crown , loads injections which I am terrified of :( Still had toothache with crown . Back to dentist he wanted to do a screw in crown or something  seeing it was back tooth I told him no and to take it out . This went on for nearly 6 months with me having toothache.

Sorry but I don't pay :o because I get a bit housing /council tax benefit . Hate to think what it would have cost me last time I went.

Did you do the Tropical Red Bull game tweets? I got a parcel left in my porch from that this morning. Not international though, according to the sticker it came from Lancashire :D
