Been gardening on and off all day. There is still more planting out to do but it doesn't seem as daunting now. I'll water it all when I get back from cricket. Nice evening for sitting out in the sun but think I'll take a cardi to be sure.

I have cleaned the downstairs toilet and washed the cat bedding oh and washed up. Good news is the fridge seems to be working again, I think it was just too hot for it to work properly.

Typical! On the day I intended and really *need* to work. I am enduring the second day of a horrid migraine and, despite medication and spending all morning and most of the afternoon sleeping it off, it's still grumbling away :(
I have achieved nothing today but to hang out 4 loads of washing, and we are out all evening for a meal with friends. Fortunately I rarely get sick with the migraines, so will be OK to eat. These friends have a big garden and grow all their own fruit and veg - yummy!

Glad your DS's insurance has come through at last, CY.
    Happy new home, Frizzle!
Hang on in there. Valli - the term is nearly over.
Mrs-mp, I am worn out just reading your posts - you are always such a busy bee. BTW, the megablocks have gone down a treat in the new course, thank you.
    mummyroys, any news?
Glad you're enjoying your various guests, LW. Grand idea to weed in the rain!
Dusty, glad you’ve had a nice day in your own gardening. Hoping to get out in mine at the weekend too.

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all in need x

I think I may have overdone it when I cut the grass on Monday; I've been 'orribly tired all week, and kinda forcing myself ever onwards. Today, I went outside to get the washing off the whirligig as it was dry, and came over so dizzy I had to sit down for a while before I could fold it to go into the airing cupboard.:( Hope I'm not in for a major flare - I haven't time for one, I have wall-to-wall doggies for the next few weeks!

I'm hoping it's just this wretched hay fever, which is currently worse than I've had it for a good few years.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

  • Hi all.

Firstly can I say aaaarrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhh my lovely washing machine is poorly and making a horrible noise. Disaster! It is karma as I have been bragging about the little tune it plays.

Nothing done re lists today, paid stuff, then picked up from school, then library bus, then made tea, then that was it really.

bossy, me and OH always say things like this mean you need a holiday. Recently he has nearly put his boots away in the fridge, and yesterday I nearly dropped the iPad in the washing up bowl.

Boddy hope the pain eases soon, and cy hope everything settles down and you have some calm.

LW I have spoken to a few people recently who have been said their hay fever has been worse this year, so maybe it is that.

Right, off to speak to my WM x

Hey, sorry I've been MIA all week, have done much flying though, have pretty much done out all of downstairs, bar the utility (massive hot spot) and the downstairs loo, which I desperately need to paint. Things still need hoovering and steam cleaning, but very much almost there, which is a first. Upstairs is a different matter though, washing is everywhere!!!!! Still haven't got the WM fixed (I can sympathise Biscuit), so am washing on a cold wash only.
Things have been a bit fraught here as OH is STILL away, into his 6th week! And May has rather nasty chicken pox. Have only left the house once since Saturday! Going a bit stir crazy!!

Love to all who needs it x

Thanks Lynne - it's still grumbling on as my migraines do, but I haven't taken any medication since yesterday afternoon, we had a very enjoyable meal with our friends last night, and I am fit to drive myself to a meeting 30 miles away this morning. I need to get one piece of work done on the computer before breakfast, then I can keep off it until this evening and give my eyes a break.

Hope everyone has a good day - and, in particular, that the sunshine forecast in York actually makes an appearance x
