i think what you mean was your booking was cancelled not the flights ...this might be what's confusing people
I see what you mean and you are quite correct, it was my bookings which easyJet cancelled without telling me, not the actual flights. My apologies to all you good folks for my misuse of terminology and any confusion.

i am a little suss about this, the poster seems to have joined to lodge this moan and then posted it first in the cheap airport parking thread.
I'm sorry you see it this way. My posting is actually under Travel, Trips and Holidays. Unless I'm mistaken cheap airport parking is simply another thread in the same category. I opened a new thread to ask for advice regarding a serious travel complaint. If you have any relevant advice I'd be grateful to hear it.
    Thanks again.

Ok, under EU rulesyou are not due any delay compensation for 3 hours.

However, if as you say, there was no skullduggery on your part, just a mix up/mess up on Easyjets part then it would only be fair for them to refund the cost of your new, later, more expensive flights IMO as it would then have been "their fault".
If they were not a "no frills" or "budget" outfit, they would maybe for good customer relations throw in a bit extra, some freebies etc.
But they are, so they probably wont.
It just seems all a bit strange. You may be just an innocent random victim of a !!!! up but the general opinion is you are withholding some of the "important details".
You could chain yourself to the perimeter railings of Luton Airport with a "topherjohnc is innocent" banner;)

sorry to be disbelievent, i am staggered that easyjet have not taken fraud suspicions as far as a letter to you home.

Not half as staggered as I and my wife were! Not surprisingly my wife was in tears when it seemed we would not make it to our nephew's wedding!

your story wobbles about quite a bit.

oh no, are we about to get another one of these http://www.vx220.org.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=54660, I do hope so:j
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I read 8 pages, then went to last page (64) I assume based on the (circumstancial) evidence, Imran was deemed guilty.
Is topherjohnc an Imran ? Were the Birmingham 6 and / or Guildford 4 completely innocent ?
We really need to get Peter Baker on the case:p

In what sort of a world are we living when EasyJet can sell someone a dodgy VX220 and get away with it? It wasn't even orange!
