But you didn't need to until the latest 'fix'.

And there are lots of other oddities/niggles that were introduced by the 'fix'. None of which should have been caused (IMO) by bringing in measures to deal with the sort of spam we were getting.

Problem solved for new threads?

The links in new threads posted since 3pm are all opening correctly in a new tab with a single left click.

Links in threads prior to 3pm still open in the current tab.

ETA - Links in threads before 01/07 are also OK

I'm beginning to think it was better with the Spam and without all the peculiarities introduced by the 'fix'.
At least you could just ignore the Spam.
