Hi MG12 - that's a good price for the ferry! Would you mind me asking what company you are looking at? We usually use the tunnel, but that's a great price for the ferry.

Edited to add - Cite Europe is your best bet for a french supermarket - big shopping mall type place, can't miss it! It's really near the Euro tunnel terminal, not far off the A16. Food outlets, perfume shops, french hyper market, loads of stuff there.

Thanks for that clare. Much appreciated advice re: cite europe.

I cant remember which ferry company it was to be honest (went through a link on the disney booking site, and forgot to save it :-()
P and o arent booking that far ahead yet but the same days a few weeks earlier are coming out at £39 & £45.
If I find which company it was originally I'll let you know.
    Thanks

Hello, we have been quoted £686 for 4 nights in Hotel Cheyenne in June 2014. This is for 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 4. This includes breakfast and 5 days worth of day passes through:

    worldtravellers.com via disneylandparisoffers.com

This feels like a great offer, any thoughts on whether this is good value or not would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi.

We've booked to go to DLP in Oct for 5 day. staying at the explorer, using advise from the forum. Planning on getting the fantasy passes. When we booked the holiday the deal on the French ticket web sites had children under 12 a go free when an adult ticeket was bought, but as we had to wait until the 6 month prior to us going date the offer expired. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether that will come back on again, compared to the current $35 euro per child (we'll have a 5 year old and a 2y11m year old when we are there)?

Also what would be the best way to get from the airport to hotel? Have seen the links to the VEA shuttle bus, but as there are 4 adults and 2 kids would it be cheaper another way?

    Thanks in advance.

I think the current 35 euros annual pass for a child when you buy an adult's pass is going to stay for a while.

shared or private shuttle will be easiest, fastest, and probably cheapest, for your party. Have a look on rstransports, ezyshuttle.com, tioshuttle, interprestige for prices etc.

    'Evening all,

Have just booked to take the family too DLP next February half term.
4 nights hotel in Hotel Cheyenne, breakfast each day and 5 days entry to the 2 parks all for £512 [pretty decent price i thought as when i'd looked before it was always 4 figures for 4 of us]

We've never been there before so would appreciate any feedback on a couple of things -
Food prices - I'm thinking around 100 euro per day [something small/fast food at lunch time with something a bit bigger in the evening]. Is this a reasonable supposition?

Ferry - We're driving from West Wales and are going to stay in Dover on the night before we catch the ferry to Calais so we can leave early in the morning. Prices now are £39 each way for the car. Is it worth booking this now or is there likely to be any offers nearer the time?

On the way back we're going to stop off in Calais to stock up on beer/wine etc. Can anyone recommend one thats easy to get to/from?

    Cheers for any advice :)
    Hi,
We always use Cite D'europe to stop and do that sort of thing - easily signposted if you follow the signs for Eurotunnel - then right at the junction theres one to the shopping centre. Carrefour is MASSIVE and will have all you need.
Regarding travel - thats quite a good price for the ferry - not likely to get it for much less- i wouldnt have said - sometimes they include offers to include disney tickets - might be worth a look.
If you are a clubcard point saver, worth a look at the Euro TUnnel ones - might be able to get the crossing for free and perhaps pay for a travel inn stop over (through quidco of course!)
hope some of that might be helpful! :-)
