Can anyone clarify the CE passport deal for me? Have I understood correctly that for every adult passport you purchase you can get a corresponding child's passport for €35?

    it's here: http://www.ce-multiavantages.com/404/passeports-annuels-promos.html

    Thanks

its cheaper to get them from ticketnet.fr - heres the link -

    Thank you once again.

We now have our hotel (breakfast only), transport & park passes sorted.

Is there anything else we should be looking to buy in advance (because of cost) rather than when we are there?

not really sure what else there is, apart from food money, drinks money, and souvenirs money.

You could pack some snacks in your luggage, but if you don't want to there are a couple of convenience stores inside the train station at the entrance to the parks.

eta - take plenty of painkillers, plasters, tissues etc - there are no pharmacies or anything like that in the vicinity, and you'll walk for miles at DLP without realising it!

Just wanted to say we had a fantastic time at Disneyland Paris last week and I wanted to thank those on here who gave me some excellent advice. Especially balletshoes!

If anyone wants some tips/advice, please feel free to ask and I'll try and help. We did Travelodge Ashford, Eurostar direct to the park, Explorers hotel, annual passes from ce multiavantage, Cafe Mickey. We were a party of me, my wife, two daughters (aged 4.5 and 1.5) and my parents.

    Hi Runningman!

I'd love to ask about the annual passes please. I'm looking to get 2 adult and 1 child annual passes this Autumn ready for a trip mid December. When you buy them, do they email or post you something? How long does it take? And what did you have to do on arrival at the parks and in City Hall to make the annual passes?

    Many thanks!

    Hi Clare,

First of all you have to register with the site which (if memory serves and it hasn't changed) costs €20. Then you purchase the passes - use secure delivery (about €7) as they send you temporary passes. Ours arrived within a few days. Use Google translator if you don't understand French.

When you arrive at the park, you can gain access with the temporary pass but then have to visit the Passeport Annuel office which is quite a large and obvious building just to the left of the Discoveryland entrance. (To the right of the castle.) Just ask someone if you can't find it. You need to take your passports as ID. The staff in there are very helpful and will ask a few questions (your address etc), take your photo then issue you with the permanent annual pass.

Even with the extra costs and small amount of hassle they're well worth it in my opinion. We're considering going again within the year now to use them again! Also, the small savings you make on food and shop purchases add up (if you remember to use them; we forgot a few times!).

There's lots of info on the annual passes here: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/booking/annual-passports/

Hi, we are thinking of taking our kids (son 3 & daughter 7) in September for our daughters birthday, i was wondering if anyone could suggest if there's anything we can arrange before we go to make her birthday extra special? the only thing I can find out about is the birthday cake option which, as far as I can tell is £21 pound for a large cake which seems like it may be a bit of a waste cos there's only 4 of us, any ideas greatly received please - thank you. x

getting the cake brought to your table accompanied by the characters and special birthday song in Cafe Mickey is a great experience, and worth the price of the cake (and you can have some for dessert and then take the rest away to have for supper the next couple of nights ;)).

You can also take her to City Hall - if you tell them its her birthday they will get Mickey on the phone to give her a special birthday message.

Buy a birthday sash or big birthday badge for her, and have her wear it around the parks all day - the cast members and characters will treat her very well, lots of happy birthdays and bon anniversaires.

If you really want to push the boat out, you could take her to the Aubergde de Cendrillon princess meal, or take her to the Disneyland Hotel for the Princess makeover packages they do (starts at around 40 euros for hair and make-up, beautifully done and they really do make your little one feel like a Princess).
