Has anyone got the train from central Paris out to Disney?
Just wondered how long it took, frequency, cost etc. Any help appreciated, thanks.0 -

I haven't stayed at The New York Hotel, but have only just come back from staying at The Sequoia, which is very close by.
Went into the New York for a look around, as we are hoping to stay there next year!
It looks lovely inside, really posh and upmarket - it is a 4 keys rated hotel, which is only one key under the main Disney hotel, so it must be good!
I definitely would like to stay there, so hope you have a great time!!!0 -

Very easy to get the train out from Central Paris. Are you staying there, or have you got a Eurostar but can only get to Gare du Nord? If you are travelling from Gare du Nord, then you should take RER line D to Chatalet les Halles and change to the RER A line to Chessy/Marne La Valee. Takes about 45 minutes. If you are staying elsewhere, check the appropriate starting point on the map below (first link).
The hardest thing is to get the right ticket, hence the second link.

Need to know which airport. Flights will be expensive in the school holidays.
If you want to stay for 7 days then I would buy shares in Eurodisney and get annual passes - see earlier post.0 -
Hi em,
You are in for a total treat by comparison. As you know there is a Kyriad just along from there which is nice and clean (as opposed to the pit where you stayed before) but its a two star and it shows. The Dream Castle on the other hand is beautiful and 4 star. The rooms are stunning and the kids love the big reception area.
At the back of all of the hotels in Val de France there are large lawns that you can sit out on of an evening (and a lake at the bottom which is quite a pleasant walk around the path round it), plus of course at any time you can take the pink shuttle bus to Disney. There are also Disney shops in the hotels (I'm pretty sure there's one there, if not, there's one next door at the Holiday Inn).
The one thing I'm less keen on about the Dream Castle compared to the Holiday Inn is that it doesn't have a kettle in the room, so if you like a coffee before bed or first thing then its worth taking a little travel one. Other than that its lovely. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
